Dude thank you…I was losing my 💩 because I was trying to put the piston back in with a c clamp and it wasn’t moving…Video was so helpful…❤✌🏻

Same here, dude. I was so frustrated! That being said, thanks to the dude who made the video, I wouldn't have figured it out otherwise!

Same same. I could even get my C clamp to fit. Was going to go medieval on this piston to get it to move. So glad I watched this video. Probably would have damaged this caliper with the custom clamp system I was working on.

Thanks so much, very helpful! You shouldnt need to bleed the brakes since you did not open the system. No hydraulic line were disconected.

Shouldn't hang the caliper by the brake hose, plus as others have mentioned you don't need to bleed the brakes, but you do have a rotor with a scored interior that should at least be turned and ideally replaced. Thanks for the tips provided - helpful.

There is no need to bleed the brakes if you did not take the brake fluid hose loose.

Thank you so much! Couldn’t figure out how to press in the brake piston. It is so much different than any other car I have worked on.

You’re welcome. I had to research it as well. It’s different.

Why would you bleed the brakes if you didn't open up the brake line?

Thanks, i have done both types of calipers on various cars, thx for the reminder. Which part number did you use for those rear pads? I have seen variations based on GT vs GLS etc. mine looks like yours there, Thanks !

There is supposed to be a wear indicator that chatters before you get to metal on metal. Unfortunately, it never seems to work. I'm watching this video because I had a break pad fail (it tore and fell out, I found it in the driveway after hearing the grinding of metal on metal coming from the side where I found the torn pad).

I am sure the rotors are scored :also no need the bleed the brakes.

any more, I just replace the rotors with the new pads. They done seem to make them as robust as in the "good old days".
