I worked on these for 6 years pluss in a vaux dealer, same type of engine fitted to astras & cavs,calton, when you ever remove the cam box of you should empty the hydraulic tappets (put them in a vice one at a time ) it will start up every time as if you do not you will have to crank until the excess oil is pumped out , top tip Dave

You can stick a mk1 Astra inlet manifold on that engine and it’ll give you an extra 5 BHP straight away (That’s if you can still find one!)

I just had a selection of different bolts in stock. They are M6x25mm from memory.
Have you still got a 1.2 engine you would be wanting to mate?
Carl has, it's a 1.2i engine, so very different to a carb one though
