Thanks pal. Yeah the td were always rare and the SX was even rarer. There was a few about but not many at all. My engine mount broke twice, I used a 3 bolt astra mount in the end. Much stronger

@DanielBall that's awesome. I never realised their potential when I was young but they were surprisingly good standard.

@flatoot yeah they are very good standard. One of the first semi hot hatch diesels too.

@@DanielBall yeah that's probably very true indeed. I had a 1.4sr at the time but the insurance too much for my first car. And the diesels were Sr performance for cheaper everything else, which felt like cheating the system at the time 😂 Is your white diesel nova still around?

Yeah it's great, I bought longer arms though as I was limited with some cars. So far I have had the following on it, Nova, VW Up, DB7, Sharan, Passat, Octavia so a good range

Driving that car the length of the country is a favourite memory of mine 😇 I accidentally let one horrible relationship and two wonderful daughters get in between me and my hobbie these last 10 years. It's looking a bit dusty at the moment in my shed. I'm going to fit a scissor lift In my garage this winter, so I'll have somewhere nice to work on my vehicles 👌 Keep up the great work Dan, you're doing legendary stuff 😎

I used to work on it here and there for the first few years so when I last touched it, all it needed was a handbrake cable and steering rack boots for an mot... But that was a few years ago 😅
