Having been a dietary manager I had a break down when Brock tasted the “brine” 🤣🤢....so happy when I saw the fresh turkey! You made a beautiful “chicken” Brock 👏🏼

It sounded like the person was suggesting brining but that would only be if it's super frozen? I don't know that thing is a beast. And I'm the same can't eat meat when I see it whole.
@@marzigeisha My son says brining is rubbing the spices on to the turkey or any meat. In other words rubbing them and he does it straight in the pan, no water. He cooks in a smoker all the time. He makes the best BBQ and steaks!!
Omg I was cringing w that turkey w the blood in the sink lmao he was trying to brine it which he had the right idea but he executed it wrong. Should have been rinsed and drain out the blood and put in a big bucket of CLEAN water w spices lmao. Love his efforts tho!

And Sheana, my sister could not eat turkey when she was pregnant either. It made her sick. You two are adorable!!

I have to say I was so happy to know that they didn't use the FIRST turkey OMG I was so scared for her being pregnant!! She could've been so so sick from it!! I’ve followed her story from the beginning and have always felt so deeply for her. All she ever wanted was a family and everyone always made fun of her for that. So what she loves hard, that is a great quality to have. And it worked out perfectly for her, she got the best prize ever by having to wait so long. 💜

Omg brock with that turkey in the sink full of bloody water! I died when he tasted the water to see if it was salty. The salt bath is usually in a roasting pan....but brock took bath very literal! Lol. It was kinda adorable 💙

It’s good to wash the turkey first, clean everything out, and then you can put lemon and apple cider vinegar to clean it through , then you can season it in a bowl or something leave it to absorb all the seasoning, but it was so cute to watch this ☺️

I think Brock was trying to make a brine for the turkey when he had it in the sink but he did a real good job at cooking the turkey and Sheana helping her man in the kitchen with the sides, looking good. Brock's gonna make a good husband and father.

Never breaded a turkey. I usually make an herb butter and separate the skin from the body part and slide my hand in between with the herd butter. Season the turkey on the outside and yes stuff the turkey with fresh herbs carrots onion and celery. You guys will do an amazing job. There are so many ways to make turkey. Just think you have many years together to make it different every year. Good Luck and Happy Thanksgiving.
yea, i put sage and my turkey herbs in the cavity. but i also leave some butter an then muddle fresh herbs in it and baste the bird before putting in oven.

I made a seasoned butter “paste” and shoved it under the skin on top of the breast, shoved a whole garlic and Rosemary and lemon inside the turkey then covered it with foil and cooked it for 3-4 hours on 300 and then uncovered it and let it get brown on 350 for another hour, PERFECT! I also poured broth in the bottom of the pan. Everyone has their own way!

Good tip about the pineapple, I usually pick the biggest. Give Brock a real mask as the pink ones look like sanitary pads and the other disposable ones look like diapers, lol. The foods looks AMAZING.
yes, i have used chips to bread chicken and porkchops. also good crumbled on top of tuna casserole.

He's a goof, love a man who gives no f☆cks. And the sides are a little weird (I say weird because in summer Xmas is HOT here soo we might have a roast and potato bake but mostly salads, light food) but now I get them a bit more, being an Aussie. Also Sceana thank you to you and Brock for not only modelling masks but also giving food to the needy, which there are so many more of now. You guys really are awesome 💜💜💜

Not sure what Scheana used, but you can use canned (drained), fresh or frozen. Fresh or frozen have to be blanched first.

Brock..you need to talk to my husband. He makes the turkey very year and it's so moist! He brines the turkey for 24 hours. Then he cooks it breast down and flips it when there is an hour left like you did. It's fantastic!
