Hi. Good video. I have the ecm titanium and edc suite. I put the popcorn limiter in my car with edc suite and works fine. Can i do the popcorn on the ecm titanium? Best regards from Portugal
Hey awesome to see you got it with edc suite. As for ecm titanium I’m sure you can I just Have never tried. It’ll be the same process just have to find the map needed for the adjustments.
Thank you, best video out there on this subject. Do you run this together with the Torque limiter you did in your previous video or is that now completely turned off?
I am fan of your video. i do every thing on edc15 (alh) works on edc suite.. but in edc16 with winols (free version) i can't see any map or i can't modify.
2.5” downpipe to 2.25 (stock size) straight pipe out the back with a turn down From what I’ve experienced the pd doesn’t cho like the alh cars Also larger turbos tend not to do that either I’m running a gt2056v turbo
I guess [and see] you are using MPPS V13.02 china/ amazon/ ebay clone to flash EDC16U34. Any hints which are good to know with flashinig this ECU? - I mean any exact fuses needed to be pulled out or maybe something more. Ofc.. battery charger connected to car battery while flashing is indisputable so.. i dont even talk about it ;) Do you calculate checksums only with winols 2.24 and its always work? Have you ever bricked this ecu before? [and if yes - how did you repair it, flashing and flashing or only bdm and soo on] ;)
Yes Indeed the cable is a clone, I always use winols for checksum with original file and mod files open in the software I’ve never bricked but have had checksum issues when I didn’t have the original file loaded in winols But was able to flash after I figured out the issue. Haven’t bricked (yet) but I have 2 back up ecu in case I ever do and a friend with bdm( soon to be getting one myself) I hope. I don’t pull any fuses while flashing, but I do turn radio and lights and everything else I can off while flashing. Hope this helps get your started any further questions or if I missed something please ask.
So when I got the car it was stock I have the original read off the car So I import that original read Then import my mod file and make adjustments let winols do checksum then flash And yes learning from others is amazing such a great community of people when it comes to cars and modifying them

Or WinOls doesn't detect any checksum to this file and you have had calculated it from other [wrong] file or used to that purpose some other checksum calculators utilities software? Hmm.. I ask about that because I do some EDC15 files with checksum only automatically detected from WinOLS and only having "mod" file READ from client car and.. never had before any problems... its actually interesting, because of that. The problems only I see [not me luckily], friend of mine made soft on AXR/ATD TDI [with electronic TVA] with VAGEDCSuite and this program can brick ecu, because of wrong checksum calculating and this is why I think I never had this problem, because of I always use WinOls and Ori file for making any soft and even If i havent ori file I always search for ori file only for checksum purpose, but these are individual cases i guess. I always noticed that if you load ori file to winols, he detect checksum, OK, OK, and if you are making changes on ORI file and export it for write purpose - it always works well - so.. ;) Hmm.. but basically to be sure [always the most important is if that mod file is READ correctly and have checksums correct - if yes you can make changes on this file and export relied to winols checksum corrections] - its good to import ori and import mod file [if you start making software changes - here will be second, copied READ file] as version - do you agree with that?

Single valve sounds better in my opinion
Agree 100%
Does it work for 1.9 ALH and is it any harmful for the mechanical fuel pump? Because I see the mechanical pump being more restricted and less tunable than a PD.
On alh use the other method
I’ve never had any issues come from having the limiter
@@ERAutomotive Well thank you for letting me know! I asked because If you try to search 1.9 TDI popcorn you'll get only PD's and I thought the ALH cant do popcorn because of it's mechanical pump and I was kinda disappointed
Alh just won’t be as aggressive on the limiter
You are mail ?
Americans do popcorn maps oh shite
Yes
But I’m canadain lol
is it the same way for a JTD motor? 1,9 JTD 105 8v
I think so
Does this work on a 2006 1.9tdi Passat
Yes
Compatible w 2002 vw 1.9L tdi?
I don’t believe there is a single value rev limiter in that ecu. For that car follow the other method for torque limiter
Does this work on a pd130 Blt?
Yes same theory applies as far as I know
@@ERAutomotive do I need mpps v13.02 for a 56plate blt?
If it’s edc16 then yes I believe mpps would work for you
I’m from Canada and not familiar with those
