Not sure if Emanuel lost count or was showing off but he attempted TEN (10) triples in his LP.

He was too young and too shy at that time to show off )) and he fell after his single 3 so I bet he rather tried to cover it up with the max. of jumps he could make after it. )) He jumped so lightly at those days, it looked like flying in the air instead of jumping with efforts and a force. I liked a lot his first adult 3 seasons. And how he will change after ...I never saw such a radical change in skating style whatsoever. Amazing skater, just amazing..

@@maxnaturamour7200 I agree that he probably lost count after the fall on his 2nd 3A. Since he was not to get the 3A credited under the old rule (unlike today’s), he figured he could repeat one additional triple elsewhere…and miscalculated it all. I didn’t take notes or anything, but I think I saw him repeat 3T, 3F, and 3Lz-in addition to the two 3A attempts. This is the reason skating coaches incessantly tell their skaters NOT to improvise their programs.

shouldn't he have been abducted points for that I remember Jayson daynomay doing the same thing and he did 9 triples even though he was flawless one year and they deducted him points because of it.

@@Royelsworth there wouldn't be any deductions, he just wouldn't get any extra credit or consideration.
