- Welcome to my new Lets Play of Banished, Mega Mod 9 addition!
Banished a city-building strategy game. It's the game that really started the boom in the colony building genre over the last few years. In it you control a group of exiled travelers who are forced to restart their lives in a new land. They have nothing, just the clothes on their backs and a few supplies. Your mission (if you choose to accept it), is to lead this rag tag group into brighter future....and to keep them alive. Easier said than done.

Seedlings, are only good for trading. None of the specialized trade posts work. Use, the CC, or SR of the Ports large and small all work properly. But they are all general traders. Fur, makes Fur Coats with the Furrier Tailor, and there is only ONE Tailor that makes Fur coats, highly profitable. Collecting Furs and Fur Coats, trade for 65 each. So worth hunting the Tailor Shacks for the Tailor that makes them.

I saw in the comments on the Mega Mod 9 link that someone else was getting crazy amounts of fodder from multiple resource production buildings. I also really like the bitty buildings! Perhaps once you get your community stable, you could consider building out over the lake? I personally enjoy a good dock community in Banished, and they can start producing materials you will need later for advanced buildings.
Their so cute right?! And I'm definitely planning on adventuring out into the lake!!!
I am glad you didn't try the Nomads signpost and opted for the NoticeBoard, the signpost doesn't work, and creates unhappiness everywhere, as they all starve and die.

i still have mega mod 8, so i don't know. but in RL poeple make leather from furs and from pelts, which been called "tanning". there is a possibility, that the mod devs may have brought that into the game. you may wanna check if there is a tanning building, or if one of the other tailor buildings have a tanning recipe, to convert fur intos leather
because ... the question comes up: "what is the fur for? what can i do with it? besides maybee selling it"
Hi Manfred! You can make fur coats in other tailor buildings. I don't know if to can make leather from a tannery... definitely something to look into!
