    Part of the Army recipe for winning is time of possesion. Keep the other team's offense off the field with small gains, 4th down conversions, and using every second on the clock from the start of the game.

      Exactly what they are doing to Rice right now, currently on a 15 play over 10 minute drive and it's still only first and goal haha

      @@OldManTrying To that end, Army's Offense is huge part of their defense. Piss off your opponents on Flex Bone Fridays by never giving the ball back.

    Of course I, out of all people, would love to see the Northern Illinois offensive rebuild dynasty. 😎
    I really enjoy your videos, so whatever you put out I'll watch regardless!
    8:38 🤯 dude...how? How did he catch that? I can't even take control of my receiver while catching let alone make that move.

      Haha I'm telling you there's something with Arkansas, they pull the wildest stuff every time I go against them

    Running so slow because wear and tear on #6 had him at negative 19 speed

    I run this with my ultimate team. Lately I’ve gone tight and run veer with no motion so they can’t key which way I’m going. Also if you use arch motion have qb counter to audible to the weak side. The seas open for the qb. Works best when they start chasing arch motion

    • @OldManTrying
      @OldManTrying  3 месяца назад

      I like the idea of running tight, like you said getting rid of that motion/tell to keep them guessing is really nice

      @@OldManTrying you can also flip the play with right stick. Run it to the side with the least defenders.
      If you run close set. With that I will run dummy motion on the play with short corners and Texas routes. I put one of my rbs on a streak and put one of the Texas routes in motion to the back field. They will user to the motion side and leave the middle open for the hb on a streak. The Texas route will run a little tighter as well.
      We called that HB dump when I coached it.

    15:35 I experience the same thing, it started happening after the first update, I think it’s an update from EA trying to prevent the amount of strip gang tackles from the user

      @OldManTrying  3 месяца назад

      Yeah that could be it, just so weird seeing the user look like he's running through quick sand all of a sudden or something haha

    With how bad blocking is, it's hardish to run Army playbook.. I've warped into a Pistol playbook. I get the runs and passes off just fine

    • @OldManTrying
      @OldManTrying  3 месяца назад

      Yeah the interior line kills me sometimes with these teams, pistol does sound like a good solution

      @OldManTrying not so far back like shotgun and not so close to under center and get warped sacked(speaking on experience 😂)

    With army navy Air Force you have to stay ahead of the sticks. Play old school. Run 1st and 2nd, pass on 3rd and 4+
    Just my experience

    • @OldManTrying
      @OldManTrying  3 месяца назад +1

      Yeah that's fair. I try to catch them off guard every once in a while passing early on but when it backfires it's so hard to make up for
