How this only has 30k views is beyond me. Such a useful video for me up-skilling my chart game. Thank you for your selfless time commitment in producing this gem!
I have seen so many excel tutorials that you can’t even understand the English accent yet they have over 100k views. This one is one of the clearest put tutorials, so I agree why it doesn’t have many views.
Without a doubt, this is one of the most useful tutorials related to charts, every single trick you explain helps to finally present information like never before, all these tips have changed the Excel charts game for me.Thank you so much for your time and effort in making this content.
Hands down one of the best excel tutorials! The tutorial is very precise, highly effective, and at the same time there isn't much complexity involved in actually using the techniques demonstrated here.
This is a good professional tour of Excel chart functionality. You don't teach us "how to suck" eggs, and you integrate the learning of related topics. Well done.
WOW! You covered a wide range of Excel Chart options. I love the tutorial but I'm going to have to play with these tips and tricks before I can remember them all. Great Job!
Thank you. I would like to ask how to find the first point after which the values decrease . For example (4, 6, 3 , 2, 3, 2, 1, 0 , -2, -3,-5,-2) In this example the value is 3. But how to select it automaticaly in a large list or on a curve. Thank you in advanced :)
This is a situation where I would use helper cells that contain intermediate calculations. You can do tests on values and fill the cell with a value that indicates whether this current value is below the previous one. Then you can have another helper cell to evaluate the pattern of the first one. I find a series of helper cells easier than trying to have a complex formula in only one cell. Hope this helps.
Great tips, with the placement of wingdings however the result for negative figures pops up in the bar itself and not at the end somehow in me following your exact examples and data... Great tips and such to enhance visibility on graphs... Thanks a lot. I ended up using the colored icons (which are not automatically coloring for future years though) and placed the percentages in the base opposed to the stacked bars (which doesnt work for negative numbers). In your example everything is positive...
With negative numbers there are a few more steps to make the symbols appear where you want them. I used a simpler example in the video to illustrate the concept.
I went from sitting on the bench and also hardly being able to dunk - to calculating multiple dunks per game, being a starter, and also winning the state championship after following this vertical jump training! This is the ideal vertical jump plan I have ever done and I’ve attempted all of them. It is not hard to find this jump tip by Google. It’s over here t.co/aX2oR1o9FS
Well, this video is mouth watering, it pushes to get enrolled in the original course, which I expect, should be a great course, indeed. But dude, come on, no Excel course is worth +300 american dollars! It even covers one tool only which is the charts in Excel, not even the dynamic charts, that's so exaggerated, it's not a sort of programming course :D
I'm glad you enjoyed the more than one hour of free tips in the video. While the course is mentioned and may not be for you, others will find it of great value.
I am sorry to bother you, video is most useful- thanks so much.q I need to combine 2 charts over weeks. One colum needs to show breakdown of cancelled and the other appointments and other value added. I have no idea how to do this. Do you have a video that might help?
The following video shows graphs that have data series for two different metrics, which is what it sounds like you are describing: ruclips.net/video/V0X03LyCOv0/видео.html. Hope that helps.
Useful and practical. Thanks. Just 1 question please: The difference between Visually show how segments add to a total (1:02:33) and Waterfall chart is that the first one adds data horizontally and the latter one adds data in vertically, is it right?
That is one difference. The other big difference is that the Show how segments add to a total visual starts at zero and adds up. A waterfall chart usually has a starting value that is not zero.
Thanks. I find it more helpful for these short tips that people apply them to their own files so they can see how they work in their own situation. That's why I don't make the file I used available for download.
