  • If you have a Roland V Drum pad that isn't triggering properly you can use this work around to extend the life of the cone and put off buying a new one. The price? Three small washers! :)

I ran into the same issue as yourself, and solved it using furniture felt! I've just uploaded a video on it! How did you get on with the screen? That's my next issue to tackle too!

So I opened up the drum and the trigger cone was so compressed that getting it to level with the drum pad with washers would have obligated me to get new screws as well. I decided to just buy new trigger cones.

I am really disappointed that these expensive pads don't let you adjust the trigger cone height .
