aah, i just got into making soft rn and tNice tutorials is so helpful and your voice is so sootNice tutorialng btw! thanks for tNice tutorials tutorial
Wow this is one of the best tutorial I've seen. Thank you so much I'll sub and like! Really I've been dealing with problems in this for so long and you solved them in less than 5 minutes.
you didnt explain how you saved and move the file, you just dragged it and i didnt seee the cursor until i saw the illustator file dragged into after effect
I've been doing everything manually RIP Thank you so much for this, it's such a time-saver! The only thing is that when I try to Create Shapes From Vector Layer, it doesn't behave as intended. Some of the items get a grey background, the constraints become the whole document size, etc.
Thanks. There should be a mention to save ai file with PDF compatibility mode otherwise it wouldn't work. Most of the time I save files without this compatibility to save space
Please make a tutorial for importing large layer files like for Explainer Video where many Category and sub categories layer are there. Characters (character have many layers , Environment Elements .
I don't know if I am not setting up my illustrator layers properly but when I import the the file into after effects it appears as 1 layer and I literally set up my layers properly in illustrator, I even named each and every layer.
this is great but could you tell me how once i have imported each of the layers as separate shape layers, how to group them all as one group or one object so that i can edit them all together, ie. make them 3d, edit the bevel, add extrusion, add different animations to them all at once, and not have to do it separately for each piece and each layer? thank you
I think what you are looking for is the ‘pre-compose’ option. Select all layers, right click, and select pre-compose (or ctrl + k). This way all layers will be under a new composition. You can make this new composition as 3D, add effects etc.
