Be nice to do Al Koran. It was Berglas and Koran that got me interested in magic as a kid. Both were huge on UK TV. There's a recent book by Andy Nyman and Jeremy Dyson -- the Warlock Effect. There's a lot of Berglas in the lead character. It's a great read. I thought the books were a bit disappointing. They sell on the basis of his ACAAN but neither one really tips the method. (I made this comment before I reached your discussion of the issue. Like many magicians, there's always that thing about wanting to know 'the secret'. You can read both of these books -- both very good, both well worth your time. But you won't know 'the secret' when you've finished reading them.)
