A Circle D convertor and a good tune with stickies.. Youll have that Coyote killing them LS trucks. I have a 21 Mustang GT with the 10spd and love it. Now that you have one maybe you can come up with some 10R80 Upgrades since there aren't that many available yet. Ready to see more of this build.

It is heart warming from one gear head to another, to see a older gear hear head living his best life and cleetus help keeping him young, so glad cleetus brought him on and kept him on, makes me wish my grandfather was in better health so we could go to some more shows this year, don't take time for granted I've learned and I'm in my early 30s and it blows my mind how fast time speeds up as we age.

Well, Mullet and Leroy have ALL the safety features and setup suspension. This thing is practically stock when it comes to that stuff. Definitely a bigger feeling of danger involved in this truck until they get a roll cage + proper seats and harnesses put in.
I can't wait to see some sticky rubber and maybe stiffer shocks to hold the front down. Also I have to admit the giveaway truck is so much nicer so hopefully your able to build this the way you want too. I think we are all interested in a dyno tuning video and maybe a track day on sticky slicks.

It’s been pretty great watching Cleet become an F-150 guy. I started DDing a coyote F150 in 2017 after 11 years of GM trucks.. haven’t looked back once. Still love my GM shitboxes, but the coyote f150 is the goat DD until proven otherwise.

With all the crap going on with the EPA cracking down on tuner shops and manufactures as well as driving them on the street I sure hope you can continue. I am an old hotrodder that still likes ripping through the gears in one of my built cars but I have done this to so called pre smog ones to avoid the issues. I am sure you are aware of this just as you are on the probable infringements imposed on your racetrack. Good luck and I hope our right of FREEDOM to do this can continue in our deteriorating democracy.

Just couldn't beat the v8 sound

I'm glad he got a truck for the channel, I was hoping it was supercharged. I loved the way that coyote with the supercharger sounded with that 10 speed on the give away truck.
If it has all stock 4 wheel drive components be carful if you get sticky tires the only thing keeping it in one piece is the fact the front is spinning and not taking the full hit on launch . get a set of sticky back tires and leave the fronts in a harder compound it will save the front axles. even with less traction in front it will still help on launch . if you want sticky tires on all 4 corners you will need to find heavy duty axles for the front end . remember Jeremys 4 wheel truck and how often it broke parts
@@Bamabrute85 the F-150 axles and transfer case are known to handle 1500+whp stock. The first issue you run into is trans slipping(just need a few upgraded clutches) and the driveshaft will explode from 140+mph, so it’s usually swapped. Once the driveshaft and trans are taken care of, the stock 9.25” rear is VERY capable of even higher than 1500whp on slicks, and the front axles are good as long as you’re going straight. Wheelhop(or as the first guy was saying, spinning) is actually the thing that destroys em. But that’s anything, even built. Upgraded axles don’t make much sense if they’re staying under 1800whp.

If it has all stock 4 wheel drive components be carful if you get sticky tires the only thing keeping it in one piece is the fact the front is spinning and not taking the full hit on launch . get a set of sticky back tires and leave the fronts in a harder compound it will save the front axles. even with less traction in front it will still help on launch . if you want sticky tires on all 4 corners you will need to find heavy duty axles for the front end . remember Jeremys 4 wheel truck and how often it broke parts

@@gsppuffer 4 Mickey Thompsons and a transbrake will be capable of breaking all sorts of stuff. Especially stock stuff.
@@Bamabrute85 the F-150 axles and transfer case are known to handle 1500+whp stock. The first issue you run into is trans slipping(just need a few upgraded clutches) and the driveshaft will explode from 140+mph, so it’s usually swapped.
Once the driveshaft and trans are taken care of, the stock 9.25” rear is VERY capable of even higher than 1500whp on slicks, and the front axles are good as long as you’re going straight.
Wheelhop(or as the first guy was saying, spinning) is actually the thing that destroys em. But that’s anything, even built. Upgraded axles don’t make much sense if they’re staying under 1800whp.
If it runs the same IWE hubs in front it won't be long before they need to be replaced

"boost line melted", copper doesn't melt easily, run that solid mounted to an area that cannot be melted and couple to a flex line there. use steel/stainless tubing, better yet.
