Check your boost source. Fairly common to have a negative taper when using the compressor housing as the boost source but measuring boost in the manifold. You lose pressure through the charge pipes and intercooler.
Change source to manifold and you’ll be all set (after the injector change)
I agree, If that hose that goes into the turbo compressor housing is for the boost sensor than you are measuring before the compression process is complete. Your measurement is in the middle of a divergent duct (expansion chamber) that is designed to create mass airflow and avoid compressor stall. Turbos, Turbines, Jets, Rockets and Wings 101 is convergent and divergent ducts.
Ding...ding...ding. Always use a boost source from the manifold. Boost control using the compressor housing is always erratic and more difficult to control.

Definitely this. The directions for the boost leash controller state to use anywhere from the compressor housing to before the throttle body but closer to the throttle body is best for MAP sensor reference. I have mine tapped into the charge pipe pre throttle body.

It’s so weird how normalized 1000whp has become. Early 2000’s I was making 380whp and everyone thought I was a madman
I was just gonna say the same. I rebuilt a 351 cleveland and pretty sure it was around 300hp. That was a little spicy in '98.
And to think some of these cars that are still street legal makin well over 2000hp. Hell you can get a stock Honda civic with over 300 these days
What's crazy is that basically everything that's not a 4cyl these days makes 300hp..
First gen Viper had 400hp and people thought it was insane. You can now get minivans that have 300hp stock. Pretty different 0-60 times 4.5 vs 6.5 but it's still nuts.

Not a stock coyotes but still not a slouch
they are nice but a 4.6 has so much more potential, specifically a teksid block paired with 4 valve heads. 3000hp @10,000rpm isnt unheard of.

He's got a turbo coyote ranger that's just about done if not done already
hopefully they let him run it on drag and drives and other events. They also have the fox coming but any ford guy knows they need to scrap the idea of the godzilla and go with a coyote. No heads no cams no pistons no rods no opening a coyote and you can make up to 1200whp and s550s have ran 7s and f150s run 8s in the 1/4. All coyote needs is boost and fuel. throw that in a fox and you have easy 7s built they can make up to 1500 to 2000hp on factory block. LS and godzilla being old school pushrod you need heads cam pistons rods then boost and fuel to make what a stock sealed coyote makes. oh and its doing that on factory coputer no holley needed

It could be Your turbo bearing is loose. Turbine wheel starts to shake and you loose boost from it vibrating against the bearing walls. And that’s we’re the smoke is coming from also. Around the loose bearing seal, or the bearing itself. Depends on what bearing type.

These trucks are so awesome. I rode in a whipple awd single cab truck like this. Stick engine, transmission and everything else, and wow it was ridiculous. I am pretty sure it went 9’s with just a bolt on blower and a tune! And the guy drove it everywhere!

Definitely spiking due to wastegate positioning or size! You could even try something as simple as making a shorter screamer pipe off the wastegate as iv seen boost control issues due to overly long screamer!
This is the first time in my life I’ve seen/heard a 1,000hp vehicle not be OBNOXIOUSLY loud with exhaust noise. Nice!

Being a Ford technician myself, I must say this is one bad ass truck and combo. I cuss these trucks daily, mainly F250 and 350s, but seeing this set up really gives me hope about the V8 future and horsepower wars. I don't see how dodge and GM can see this video and think, by God boys we need to make a truck like this that customers can modify and tune.
