I’ve piggy backed several gm trucks on Holley, if you miss the ground in the gm harness that was originally on the back of the block in the valley by the cam sensor it will hold the starter on, that’s also probably your crank sensor loss too….even though it’s irrelevant for the Holley, if you have a bad ground everything else that used it pulls it through something else

True that. As for me it is being in a country and around people that likes to bury me down to their garbage. If I was over at 'Murica, things will be that much easier. Could have already made my ride roll by now, all the custom parts and most prob FuelTech.
Ignoring your true passion is slow suicide, having people around you that holds you out from your passion is even mentally insane. It's not the cash to do it, it is the thought and willingness to help out. Props to those who get to help fellows and the ones who get to receive help. It's hard to be alone.

Seeing how much that shifter moves under load I'm surprised you can find any gears with it.
I believe that the boostedboiz had problems with shifting this thing as well, might be the transmission.

Just look at the paint on it, that's gotta be an almost 20 year old truck and it looks immaculate. Personally I always liked the GMC version on this body style better than the Chevy, especially when Chevy went all squinty/cat eyed.

In all seriousness though I hope he's just doing it for the laughs, because there's absolutely no reason he should be that terrible at shifting with that much wheel time. I actually learned stick in a miata, no instructions I showed up paid cash for it and drove it home. Never ground a single gear and figured out the launch after just a few tries.
