I listened to your cover of Oceans and instantly loved what I heard. Then I watched this video... which surprised me, to say the least. I would have never guessed that there were black members in this band. I don't want to make it sound like a big deal, but you hardly ever see black people in metal music, let alone rocking out for God in CHRISTIAN metal! As a black woman myself, it made me so happy to see this. Aside from this, you guys sound amazing and I can't wait to hear what you'll do next. You have my full support! May God Bless!
Joy Richardson Thank you so much for the kind words. It’s the weirdest situation for us. We don’t make a big deal that we’re of dark skin, nor do we make it a big deal that we’re Christians playing and screaming Metal.
But the way the world is today, it’s inevitable to not make those two things a big deal. We’re just 4 simple guys, trying to make music to breathe hope back into peoples lives. Just looking to share the love of Jesus with all through this genre of music.

This is the first of what I've been looking for. Unfortunately a lot of black churches will label this as "devil music". I'm very sure God's musical beauty goes further than traditional gospel hymns.

I was looking this morning for Christian metal praise worship music and I Came Upon Your Channel and your song and I have to say I'm not disappointed in the least. Your voice is beyond anything I've heard in a very long time surrounding Christian rock music and it is simply amazing. Your voice reminds me of some of the secular bands I listen to like the band Otherwise or Gemini syndrome or I could probably name a lot more but I'm so blown away by your voice that I just had to write this comment and wow.
