Just finished Mass effect 3, 3 days ago with better ending mod as well for the first time and I find it kinda sad to be restarting everything from Mass Effect 1, but still beautiful.

Or why not control them, spent an entire game fighting indoctrinated TIM and his bs control plan (regardless of paragon/renegade allegiance only to discover in the last 5 that "hey TIM was indoctrinated, but YOU could control the reapers" The problem with all the endigs is that they constrast with the rest of the game (not to mention the series) in the most horrible way. Control goes pretty much against everything you see during the 3rd game, when its pretty evident that TIM is the one being controlled. Destroy would work wonders, as in, if you go to the final mission unprepared the mcgiffin can potentially ruin the galaxy, but if you go prepared (and 3 games of preparation at that) all the Reapers die, and you could have the classic space opera happy ending. Except no! To force you to chose any other ending than destroy Bioware invented this "kill all the Geth and EDI" if you kill the reapers. Specifically to force you to chose ending 3: Synthesis, for some reason fusing Shepard with space magic will turn all organics and synthetics into hybrids. All 3 options are poor endings to one of the greatest scifi series since Star Wars

I never had a problem with the ending, it's not what I would've done, but it's also not my work and therefor not my place to decide. I love the characters. My favorite moment in the entire series was on Earth right before the final push when Shepard is saying goodbye to everyone, since the first game it was obvious Shepard would die, he's a tragic hero. I have played through the entire series at least 20 times and I find myself enjoying it more and more each time.

Actually made me a little excited about Mass Effect 3. Quite a feat, considering how the whole ending fiasco... and Bioware's childishly condescending response to it soured my enthusiasm for anything they do now.
Why does Shepard fall? To pick himself up after he chooses the red ending; however, as for his crew, Kaiden got blown up, Garrus was shot in the head and Jacob was carried away by seeker swarms in the collector base, Mordin was shot in the back, Miranda bled out, Legion short-circuited, Samara shot herself, Thane got ninja'd, Tali took a swan dive, Grunt was torn to pieces by rachni, and Jack and Ashley had to be put down. Couldn't do anything about Liara and Vega though. True story.

Very good ! Why not "Man of Steel" or "An Ideal of Hope" for the next video ? After a dark themed trailer like this and "The Spectre Rises", this would be rather fit.
I love "Why Do We Fall" but I still felt there was a slight decline in his work from Inception to TDKR. Like I said, he's a fantastic composer but I imagine if he was onboard the synth elements of Mass Effect's soundtrack would completely disappear. Jack Wall is also great, but I personally felt that the tracks Hulick worked on were more memorable and fit the series more. We wouldn't have "Uncharted Worlds" without him, for example.
