I have mild Cerebral Palsy and was basically kicked out of art class in 4th grade (90s/2000s). they never gave a reason why but we assumed it was 'cause I was slower at drawing than everyone else, they also weren't very good at explaining the concept in a project. luckily my mom encouraged my love of coloring and painting and she would answer questions I had. it's probably easier nowadays where there are more disabled students, but I always wondered how a teacher would adapt a project for special needs. so thankyou for doing this video!
You rock! Started teaching private art lessons to kids and young adults last June and love it. Trained as an artist and art therapist. Approaching 60 and this will be my career focus. Very helpful video and respectful of all kids, which I love! Amy

I am so sorry you had such a bad experience but glad your mom supported you when your teachers did not.
