Prana Govinda dasa, from ISKCON Alachua, is currently under investigation by the Child Protection Office of ISKCON, which has stipulated that he should not "hold any management or leadership position, and should not be allowed to give classes of any kind or lead kirtans."
I'm not saying he is guilty as charged. Time will tell. But what bothers me very much is that Mukhya Devi Dasi, the Alachua ISKCON temple president, and the ISKCON Alachua board, continue to close a blind eye at Prana Govinda continuing as usual to make morning announcements as the quasi-official temple commander. And perhaps he gives classes as well. He certainly makes comments during the Questions & Answers period. Business as usual, in other words.
