I love the original with vocals but it wouldn’t be near my favorite album of all time but sinde the instrumental release it’s been the best album I’ve ever in my life. Heavener does seem more fitted for vocals which is still amazing but Greyview was perfect and flawless as an instrumental album. Stillworld is amazing too but idk if an album will top greyview instrumental edition for me personally.
This band is just legendary. Heavener will be in the books for one of the best metalcore albums ever.
I find it hilarious how the root of that breakdown is literally just zeroes but it's still one of the most interesting I've ever heard

Invent Animate has to be my favorite band of all time, just got a vinyl of the Heavener album, every track on that record is a certified banger. Matter of fact I dont think I've heard a song that I don't like by them, and I've listened to every song they have lol.

I’m pretty sure keaton does .85 on his bottom, and .11-63s for the rest. don’t quote me tho !! I personally use an .80 on the bottom on my 25.5” scale, and it gets pretty wobbly

Is the bass an octave higher than the guitar or do you guys use a drop tuning pedal to get the octave lower?
I've heard people say the bass is an octave below on the album but the same octave live. Imma have to listen back at the live performances tho
Bass is never an octave higher. That would sound weird. Some bands have the bass in the same octave as the guitars, but mostly it’s an octave below because it just sounds better
