my choice will be the APU.....a lot better cost and benefit with a good GPU. 5800X its a little more fast but dont have the GPU inside....not a smart choice.
@@jhonny0714 5-10% more fps for 25% more money, yeah, sure buddy, besides, I used to run a 5700g, it worked perfectly fine as a gaming cpu, ran every game I threw at it leaving my gpu or the game engine as the bottleneck before the cpu ever hit 100% usage
Why the 5700g frequency are capped at 4400mhz~ and the 5800x are not capped normally the 5700g with pbo can boost easily at 4650mhz so this is not a great benchmark if you capped à cpu capped the other cpu too
good point. i hadnt noticed. the gap would be much smaller if 5700g wasnt capped here. even with it capped, gaming at 4k theres hardly any difference at all. uncapped I bet itd be identical.
Well, actually i've been using a 5700g with my RTX 3080 at 165hz and it was good but with some downsights, the CPU has so poor cache that it slows down FPS a lot. For chrismas i got a 5800X3D and the different is insane, even though i OC my 5700g to its limit in the past, its nothing compared to the 5800X3D, even after doing Undervolt for better temps and performance. The difference is insane. Definetly if you wanna combo a 3070 - 3080 or 3090, better do it with a processor that doesnt has a iGPU, it slows it down a lot. 5600X 5700X 5800X 5800X3D or 5900X are amazing options. @@jessielees
I'd rather 30% less performance for a few $ less and half the power consumption, as well as integrated graphics in case of a dgpu breakage. The 5700g is just stellar value not to mention it's frequency capped to 4400mhz here, so there's more performance to squeeze out of it

i dont have video card but i have 3200g and you know what ? i work in unreal engine 4 and play apex legends and gta 5 allso wow . So i will get 5700G becouse there is shortage of video cards in my coantry or price is realy huge +300 % . god bless AMD
Well for a £1700 ddr5 system you can't go wrong and who cares because spending 4k on a gaming pc is pointless price to fps oh yea let's spend 4k just to squeeze 80fps lol when it was perfect at 60fps lol at what point does it even matter what cpu you use unless you want more fps on lower resolution like in call of duty spend the money on a 13900k and Good luck its a spicy hog chip plus who wants to fuck around with a water loop I just want a system that can do 4k ultra at 50fps since I don't care about fps in story games you freaks might but after 30fps 50fps can't be as bad as 30fps 4k

my 5700g doesnt run at 37 to 48 watts... underpowered and still performs well...
