I LOVE THAT SONG it was one of the 1st metal songs I listened too when I was a kid and I had it as my ringtone.. the lyric vid had a lound scream in the beginning of the song and everyone oround me would get jump scared when someone called me😂😂
I think this video/intro can be explained in a couple of different ways. First of all, on stage, the previous song before this is Beast and the Harlot. The dancers make much more sense in that song, and hiring dancers for one song seems a bit silly. Furthermore, the lyrics shine an interesting light on the subject matter. "I'll taste your blood tonight", "With your arms by your side there's no struggling", "scream from the pleasure". For me, this song is essentially written with a vampiric viewpoint, which follows a lot of what we see in media. When a vampire bites you, you're comatose, but it can occasionally bring pleasure. I think the point is we start seeing the perspective of a victim, and as the song starts, we're thown into the monster's head. But I'm one guy and could be wrong, so who knows.
@@iamdondawson Yeah I was pretty sure they were only there for Scream too. I think in the "making of" for the album they mentioned that Scream had a kind of "club" vibe or something? So that may have served as the inspiration for the strippers (to be fair, i'm trying to remember something from 2007 so I might be misremembering)
