Have you ever experimented with Glow sticks in the Pots? Also is the water too cloudy to have an underwater camera in a pot to see what goes on down there ?
i do alot of lobstering and blue crabbin here in the northeast on cape cod and i gotta say them blue crabs pinch way harder then a lobster . both of them suck to get wacked bye but the blue crab well deff make you hit a very high pitch in your voice haha good luck fellas cathem up

Never tried glow sticks. Have tried gopros but its dirty
I've never put a camera in a crab pot, but I have managed to get some videos of Chesapeake Bay Blue Crabs underwater

What is the tank of water for they toss the pot in after emptying the catch? Why?
Looks like you should go to Italy and train them in on how to catch them. They are invasive there and causing a real problem.
