another point. If you let ESO plus lapse, you don't have to worry about losing any items or access to them. You can still takes things out of your bank or craftbag and your furnishings will stay in your house so long as you don't put them away. You can only not add above the limit.
The thing that I still really hate about eso, is that the ingredients bag is tied to eso plus. This is stupid in my opinion because it inhibits the progress of a crafter. I know some people who just like to craft, but now they have to pay monthly for this feature. Eso plus is good already because it includes the dlc, extra little items, and crowns. The ingredients bag should be removed as an eso plus exclusive.
just restarted this game, made a lot of alts to see what I like.. Trying out your “Deathknight” necro build, only lvl15 atm, so way off the abilities and kit and Im using what skills are available to me in that build, but I earlier solod the big anchor thingy in Stonefalls. Tough fight, but managed it, didn’t even die once. Kinda pleased with that, very tanky, really enjoying it Thankyou 👍 yes, i’m sure you experts are laughing and could do it nekkid & blindfolded at lvl 5 , but still, gotta start somewhere. 😁

Recently started playing and I'm on the fence about subscribing. I don't like to pay subscription fees for games as I tend to play casually. I have the base game+Morrowind and I know there's a ton of content packed in there, but when I play RPG's I enjoy crafting. I feel as though the inventory space limitations might make the game far less enjoyable if I'm going to go the crafting route if I'm not suscribed.
The crowns alone are worth the monthly sub , check crown store and work out how much 1650 crowns cost , your basically buying crowns monthly and getting everything else for nothing , it’s also good for new players as buying everything you missed costs a hell of a lot lol
I just started playing ESO yesterday and I bought the Blackwood Collector's Edition and ESO Plus monthly subscription. So far the game is great, but damn it lacks some certainty for what to do as a new player and which quest line to specifically follow.
Another reason I don't mind paying for ESO plus, I actually like the game and studio and don't mind throwing some extra money their way to support them. Haven't felt the same way with some other games, and some of those games it wasn't even optional
I would struggle to play this game without the QoL the the sub brings. Same when I play SWtoR. That said I could only ever sub on a month by month basis, cause MMO's eventually bore me and that money would go to waste when i quit to play something else. but that new dlc they keep adding with a sub, keeps bringing me back.
Yep, buy the one year and purchase all the dlc packs. swtor is far worse tho, because it limits the base game by about 50%. I loved that game, but the worse thing they did was inflate the xp. You level cap in like 3 zones now.

Now it’s my go to game. Alway been a fan of elder scrolls, the sub just makes it much more fun to play. You get it all even the new chapters/ and extra content. It’s extremely worth it.

It's not worth it to me anymore. I had eso+ for a couple of years but I used my free crowns to buy the dlc's and nothing else except any class any race upgrade. Worked on getting all sets that are worth anything to me, completing my collection. Then deconstructed everything except purple and gold jewelry. Keep all my jewelry on one or two extra characters or in storage cases (from writ's) in my free house. My bank and my mastercrafter's inventory are my only AKA craft bag I need now. All my toons are at 810 so the extra xp is nothing. 3 hour chest run and boss farming and then selling the over land gear (especially weapons)will net you more gold than a lifetime of 10% gold from natural in-game sources.
This one came out as a whole game. And to this day they're still updating (7years since launch) it which is rare these days. I totally agree with you, most developers/publishers are scumbags now. But in my opinion the ESO+ is not a bad thing. I just started playing ESO+, kinda late and id rather pay a small fee and see if i like the dlc you know.

I get games like world of Warcraft having it (because the game is free to download). But all players should have access to the craft bag. Once the new expansion comes out I can decide if I should have some sort of subscription plan going. It's only worth it for the crafting materials bag, inventory space! I think it should be said that if you have a lot of stuff you put in while ESO+ and discontinue -- you can take out but until you get the whole thing down to the 'normal' limits -- you can't put anything back in! That's the way it was with Fallout 76.
I would say no since you can do crafting char without the bag and now its much easier since markarth came out. Do dlC dungeons/areas when they offer free ESO plus like now or buy specific dlc area after you have done all the quests and collected all the stuff.
So when you buy 12 month pack do you get your crowns then and there and don’t get the monthly ones or do you get those up front crowns then the monthly amount of crowns from there
You forgot one thing... When you have eso plus, you can get the skill lines from the dlc zones as well.. Like dark brotherhood and thieves guild skill lines. You don't have to own the dlc's. Just sayin... Lol

Summons are very good pve and make the game very very boring and limit your play style imo, on a mag sorc you will only have 6 skills that you can change, 4 of them will be taken by only 2 summons, without those summons you can run 10 different skills across 2 bars. For pvp they are not very useful, pve they ruin the game and make it too easy. But again this is my opinion

Online game developers are very greedy this days, you paid for the main game, still you need to pay for the DLCs plus the ESO+ which the devs limits players inventory space so that they will be forced to buy ESO+. Not to mention all the DLCs are very expensive 🥳🥳

Unless you have played for a long time, the craft bag is absolutely necessary, The only way you can survive in this game at all without that craft bag.... to have supreme inventory knowledge.

Then I go “alright for this week I focus on this type of crafting” and only hold onto things that are of that faction (unless it’s like a rare item that can upgrade the quality from epic to legendary or something)

Mule Characters... login once a day and increase their inventory space and keep them loaded up cuz that's all they're good for. 2. Start a guild.... ridiculous amounts of people come and go from this game all the time. No shame in recruiting 10 of those people that will never play the game again to keep in a guild that does not do anything more than give you 500 extra inventory space for your crafting materials and what nots. 3. NO style gems.... the standard style gems for the vanilla game are so common that they're not at all worth even holding onto if you do not have a craft bag. Very rarely will you find a conundrum that can only be solved by a crafting material from the style category. ( some of them are quite expensive that's where having inventory knowledge comes in handy) Have fun
Last time i played this i quit because i hit a roadblock in gear. Basically i played alone and didn't have a guild so i couldn't get the good gear. My gear wasnt good enough for dungeons but i had to do dungeons for good gear. Has that changed now?
if you pariticpate in alliance war(there are missions that you can do that are just socuting no combat needed) you get alliance points from that and those can be used to buy fairly decent gear in fact some of his builds use items available on there like mothers sorrow(some of randomized like you'll buy a box and it will say 3 different sets you can get items from on it)
The game is unplayable without the craft bag, for people who do more than just PVP. I lost my job due to covid tho so once I'm out of money, it's bye bye ESO for me. :(

@@ethanchampagne5 right. Don't you have 8 character slots? There are only 6 classes. I've rebuilt my DK like 5 times with complete do overs. With nerf town I just keep a stam and magicka or sometimes health toon for every class. And I move my builds around depending on the patch
I still have this problem with it that every month you don't get your crowns back I been using the 3 months subscription and I still haven't got my monthly crowns 5k I am supposed to get but I still haven't received them yet been using the 3 months for two years now and I still haven't got my monthly crowns back maybe zenimax should look into this ?
It won't be accessible straight away but a lot later on will be like Markarth and the Dark heart of Skyrim that came out last year So the only option in the meantime would be to buy the chapter

ESO plus will always be worth it as long as it has the crafting bag. Sadly its too expensive for me since ZOS doesnt work with regional pricing.

As a eso veteran, if you like eso pvm go for it, if you are playing for open world pvp do not get invested in eso the servers are terrible.

@@ethanchampagne5 right. Don't you have 8 character slots? There are only 6 classes. I've rebuilt my DK like 5 times with complete do overs. With nerf town I just keep a stam and magicka or sometimes health toon for every class. And I move my builds around depending on the patch

I don't play eso plus anymore I cancelled it and now although it's more work I dont really miss it and its stopped me hoarding so much junk now 😂 only thing I do miss is some of the dlc
