I have watched a few of these videos but this ranks near the top. I usually set my forward around 30’ but yours is 50’. Very good clear view of the pitch and catch then move to a different camera. Excellent. How do you order that jig?
Hey, thanks for that nice comment. The soft palstic baits are from WildWilleysOCD.com. The Little Minnow, 1.75 inch, Comet color. Use MISS10 for a 10% discount. The jig head is a Leyland Lures, crappie magnet, nickle plated, in 1/8, 1/16/ and 1/64th. Her is a link to their website:troutmagnet.com/crappie-magnet/crappie-magnet-50-pc-body-packs.html. hope that helps. TIGHT LINES!!
Looks like you’re still in prespawn. Got on some good ones either way! Our water temp in PA is still trying to get into the 50s. Spawn should be happening end of the month into may!! Can’t wait
You answered a question of mine in regards to your choice of jigs without a keeper in a past video. I’ve fished with keeper “less” jigs before too. When using a durable plastic such as yours, I found using a small drop of superglue to hold the plastic to the jig head makes for a lot of use without constantly adjusting it back up the hook. Really enjoy watching your vids and hope to see you on the lake in the Fall. ✌️❤️🎣
Hey, mostly luck!! I would much rather fish in open water. Fishing brush piles is tough with snags and all that. I just keep my forward range around 50 or 60 feet and start looking and covering water. Hope that helps. TIGHT LINES!!
Thanks, I appreciate it! I use it about 40-50% of the time. After you hit the button, it takes about 30 seconds to self correct which means it is kind of jerky. The worst thing about the Minn Kota Terrova is that it is not cable drive so there is a delay with the foot pedal. Definitely get the Ultrex. It has spot lock and cable drive like a traditional trolling motor. Much easier to control. I regret not getting it. Did it to save a few $$. Big mistake!!
Hey, thanks for joining BCFMl!! I appreciate it. I went fishing today. The surface temp was 70. Most of the fish are post spawn, and the bite was tough. 8 crappie in 4 and a half hours! I looked around in shallow water, with not much going on. Now the catfish are suspending, so that makes it tough, too. Saw most fish on or around brush piles. Thanks, for the question!

How are you finding these fish in the middle of the lake like this! I’ve only been able to find them relating to brush!

Do you spot lock when you are casting to the fish? Great videos
