Hey Alex thanks for posting this video. I read the manual and there is so much they left out. Thank God for RUclips or we would never figure a lot of it out.
Glad it was helpful! The manual was definitely lacking lol
I did the same a couple of years ago but rather than delete i created an "Archive" folder on my computer in case I ever wanted to access it. So many things I like about my Headrush, thanks for the tips, all your videos are informative!
Thank you so much! Just in case you can always restore all the stock presets by doing a factory restore as well
I just wanted to thank you for sharing your expertise in this device. I got one a few months ago and played a single gig with it. Your tutorials have helped me get into custom IR's and organizing this thing a lot better. Thank you \m/
Thank you! Glad the videos helped!
Hey great video! Thanks for posting. I have a question I haven't been able to find the answer. Can you mute an amp or cab without deleting it? Thanks! It would be nice so you could a - b it.
Thank you for watching! Amps and cabs can be turned on/off via footswtiches like any effect, you just have to assign them to a footswitch in hardware assign.
If you wanted to A/B 2 amps you can even create a scene that turns one amp on and the other off and vice versa all with a single footswitch.
Awesome, Alex. Learned some new things. Unrelated question, what’s the benefit of locking the ‘in’ at the beginning of the chain of effects?
I basically commit to using 1 guitar most of the time, the yellow ibanez in most of my videos. Locking the settings in the IN block makes it so when building new rigs or just switching rigs the settings in the IN block never change, even back to "default"
SUUUPER Helpful. I've been combing the manual and the interwebs all damn day just to find out reordering the rigs was just this easy. Thanks so much!
Glad it helped ya!
I was thinking of good lesson subjects. I'd love to see a breakdown of pedals. Mainly like compressors and noise filters. Like what are threshold levels, ATT, etc. And how to use accordingly to build rigs.🤘
I've been super silent for like a month now, but 2022 is gonna bring exactly that. We're gonna deep dive into parameters that most people have never even heard of like "knee" and "wow".
@@alexmansman that would be great! I got a Gibson Explorer for Christmas that has been very inspiring.🤘
@@Lesspaw41 that's awesome, congrats! I've got a new axe comin this Wednesday as well. I've never been a Schecter guy, especially their modern looking stuff, but I recently discovered their Sun Valley Super Shredder line and fell in love on looks alone so we'll see how I like the neck and everything else.
Helpful video! Thanks! I figure most users just scratch the default library of rigs from Headrush? If so, where do you get more rigs and IRs besides Doc McFarland and SonicDna?
The Headrush Cloud, Chop Tones, and best of all by making them yourself.
@@alexmansman HeadRush cloud is pretty good, but we need more users to increase the amount of rigs lol and I've actually never heard of Chop Tones, thanks for the tip!
@@headrushG33K no problem. There's also rigs in each of my Headrush Amps videos in the description
@@alexmansman oh great! Definitely subbing to your channel, lots of crucial info!
How do I get rid of the fizzyness sound thru pa
Use IRs instead of the built in cab sims. The greenback one from Leon Todd is free and is really great
Is there no other way to re-arrange the rigs you made besides creating a setlist? I made some rigs over time and they seem to sorted by when I made them (maybe date etc)? Would be great if you could go into the master list and drag the rigs into the order I want, so I can press the 2nd & 3rd button and go to the rigs I want consecutively, instead of pressing the buttons 15x etc
The only other method for a sort of "global sorting" of rigs would be to come up with a naming system that puts them in the order you decide. For example you could use numbers in front of your rigs like 01, 02, 03 etc. or even a lettering system like
A Fender
B Marshall
C Vox
D Mesa
And so on.
Very helpful tips, Thank you!
Good stuff, Thank you!
Thank you!
Thanks!
