I tried boss rush on my own the first time and didn't get far. I checked out your video, and while it wasn't a no damage run, I was able to finish it and help me get all of the achievements. Thanks for your help, and awesome run!
Thank you for watching dude! That one is based on RNG because of how the umbrellas spawn lol. There is a way to get through it with dark metamorphosis but kind of risky because of using Alfred for quick kill. Love this game as well. It felt like the first time playing Castelvania all over again.

Great run dude! 👍 I just beat this mode by watching this video. It's actually way easier though to beat the 2nd Turtle Boss with the Vampire instead of the chick. You can use her in the very beginning to slide under his 1st attack, but then switch to Batman & he's a quick joke. You don't even have to Jump to hit em'. ✌
I like using the batform for the dragons and Miriam's axe while standing on the second umbrella on the succubus. Really needed to find out how to deal with those pink moons on the last boss though. Good job!
Solid run! My only suggestion would be to equip Miriam's axe at 4:07 for the dragon boss instead. Her axe can kill each of the first couple dragons in two hits. Basically, you can take out the bottom dragon head before the top one even fires a shot! Once you take them out you can use your final axe swing on the third dragon head to get good damage on it. In case you're wondering, it takes four axe hits to take down the third dragon head.

Just came back for an update: with the sick Alfred tactics on Bloodless and the tip about red moons with Zangetsu I oneshot the Boss rush with everyone alive, first try. Thanks :D
That was great, thanks for uploading! I have a few questions though: 5:04 and 9:08 Is there any reason why you use Zangetsu over Miriam? I guess he attacks faster, but I was always unsure. Is it true? and if yes, is that the reason you use him there? 8:14 ... how can you summon 3 of those Lightning Bolts? for me he always only does 1 in regular game (have not tried boss rush yet, but still, should be the same usually, right?)
I guess the reason why he would choose Zangetsu is both: Speed of his attacks and the strength because his power level is slightly powerful than Miriam. Plus, you got the dark aura that doubles his attack power. Another reason is that...did you save up your weapon count? Just press the weapon button 3 time (3 max and to cast is 4 weapon points 1 each lightning bolts)
I have a sequence memorized for the dragon. it has 20 health points so 4 cycles of five hits with zangetsu gets the job done. just mash out the special move to get the 3 lighting bolts.
Can always get to the final boss, but both phases have obnoxious RNG, and if you fuck up and let one of your characters die, back to the beginning. Boss resets to phase 1, all damage is final for your side, and the hearts don’t even fill the whole bar

That's awesome, also with that giant double headed snake, phase 2 you don't have to duck. His fire attack will not hit you.

I completed the game both in nightmare and normal. How do you unlock boss rush?
finish normal but instead of recruiting everyone, use zangetsu to kill all the allies in the first 3 stages
