  • Today we interviewed Steven Curtis Chapman, The most awarded artist in the Christian music industry! He’s sold over 10 million albums, has won five Grammy awards & 59 Dove awards. In addition to all of his career success, Steven is an incredibly loyal husband and father and strives to always put his family first. We loved having Steven on the show to talk about his upcoming album, Still, which is out TODAY, and talk about his family life, which includes non-profit work he does with his wife and kids. We were pretty starstruck for this one, we have known Steven‘s songs for years so it was really cool to have him on the show!!

🥰 I'm am thrilled to see this interview! This is awesome! I have been a fan of Steven Curtis Chapman since the 80's, and still to this day he is one of my favorites. He is the real deal! I've been to multiple concerts here in Alabama to see him and I've always loved his shows! On my first date with my husband, he had Stevens CD playing in the car. That's how I knew we were meant for each other. " I Will Be Here" by Steven, was sang at our wedding in 1999. When we got pregnant with our first son, I would let my son listen to Steven in my belly while pregnant. My son is turning 20 years old at the end of this month and he STILL loves Stevens music! This is one of my favorite interviews. This was GREAT!🥰

I just listened to this episode this morning. I truly loved it. Andrew, you asked for Stevens input on success through the lens of a Christian. His answer was amazing. When he said that he is reassured when he's told things like; his work is helping someone's faith grow stronger or the Cinderella song helping someone be a better dad, that helps him understand that he is doing what he is called to do. I want you and Shawn to know that this podcast does that for me, you two are the biggest breath of fresh air for modern day Christian couples/families. My husband and I are about your guys' age, we are Christians, we have three kiddos, (I was a gymnast growing up so have been a long time follower of Shawn's), and we try so hard to be surrounded by other Christian's so that we don't wander in the wrong direction. Your guys' podcast has given us SO many moments to connect and discuss topics as a couple and has brought up MANY opportunities to connect with the Lord. I just wanted to thank you two and let you know, the work you are doing IS leading people to their faith and you are both remarkable role models. Thank you.

I love the story of Maria’s Big House of Hope. I was adopted with 4 siblings. I loved Christian music thanks to hearing Audio Adrenaline in middle school. I listened to Audio A’s music this week. They were the band that had the biggest impact on my childhood, so grateful!

My husband and I have been married 34 years. And it is HARD! Raising two special needs kids has been a challenge beyond our abilities to deal with alone. It has been our personal relationship with Jesus that has been our sustaining strength and our help. He has been what our Lord has done not us. He has given us wisdom and grace and love to carry us through. We have had mountain tops and very deep valleys. We have lost 3 babies to miscarriages and w ent on to have two children who are adults now. Life is work, and marriage is no different. As Athletes you know what it means to train, to achieve your goals. Well marriage and family is no different. It is a journey of work hills and valleys, Jesus is our ultimate goal, and our relationship with Jesus is not easy, it is work as well, but the eternal benefits of knowing Jesus Christ and learning what it means to walk with Christ for his Glory! Our marriage and family is also a part of our walk with Jesus, he is our strength to love one another well and loving our children well. It isn’t about us it is about Jesus!!
