I want to know if the ML team genuinely doesn't know how to make good, functioning articulation, or they don't care enough to make it good. People like to throw the pencil pushers under the bus about ML being as terrible as they are (which is completely justified), but I doubt higher ups sabotage the articulation. Like there's probably not a higher up telling the team "Hey, make sure the butterfly joints don't work because of hoodie overlay, also, stick the ball peg super deep in the neck so the joint won't function." It would be really funny if those were actual talks that were had at Hasbro though.

@@AnthonysCustoms that’s just too much of an investment, but if they ever consider re doing Spider-Man and making him buffer, I’ll bite. But I don’t see that happening especially with them just doing the black suit and the Ben Riley designs
Hmmmmmmmmmm I'm still annoyed he didn't come with a alt head. How hard would it have been to just take the same peter head from the RYV pack. And make his hair blonde. Well actually, Ben did not bleach his hair until he became Spider-man.
This figure turned out about how I expected, alright but nothing exceptional. That said I can’t wait for Hasbro to make a figure based on the new Ultimate Spider-Man that uses this mediocre body mold that doesn’t even match the physique of the character properly.
Yeah I passed and let's figure from first image. I just can't get over his belly hanging out under his hoodie. Because I'm sorry I love Ben Reilly, and I know the man always tucks his hoodie into his belt. The hoodie should have been a complete brand new torso sculpt. Instead it's just an overlay on the renew your vows body.
I was looking forward to the review of this. I think its great figure. I usually avoid marvel legends ...very rare i pay full price for one. maybe im brainwashed by this channel. But I did buy this tho. Its worth it.
I get most agree the mafex is better but come on you’re comparing a $25 fig with a $125 figure ….these are toys. I get we collect them , me for the nostalgia and these are leaps and bounds better than the marvel figs I got as a kid (which I also loved by the way )
When they got the hang of it decade ago, everyone said hasbro proportions is leagues ahead of toy biz, but how come they still look like scrawny cosplayers. 🤷♂️
Usually when people are comparing Hasbro's proportions to ToyBiz, they're referring to arm length, hip width, hand sizes, and shoulder sizes. Hasbro does beat them when it comes to that, but ToyBiz knew how to sculpt heroic people, they just didn't know how to combine that with the articulation they had, thus bad proportions.
Decent figure but its not good enough. I wish hasbro put more effort to at least make it comparable. But no unmasked head, no squinted eyes, no web effects, its just baffling to me how low effort these figures are. If it had the better proportions and the jada toys neck and torso articulation with the all the accessories it would easily beat the mafex in terms of value. But because it doesn't have those things its just another example of Hasbros lazy way of making action figures purely for money.
Off topic but ever since you got married it seems as though we will never get to see your line of figures . While i understand priorities i think its unfortunate since i see other ppl in this space having successful campaigns who probably just did it on a whim with what i personally see as ridiculous figures .

I grew up in the 70s and 80s and 90s til now what cry baby generation you grew up know ???you wouldn't have collectors if it weren't for my generation. So nope I speak facts you are an influencer mind controller not really a toy collector a nitpicking fraud cringe .@@AnthonysCustoms
Hey Anthony will you do a review on the new reissued trunks.
Not sure a review is necessary for a reissue but maybe
The photo shop arms look so awesome, if it was that then it would have been incredible. Also like how have they still not figured out how to do a double ball peg☹️☹️McFarlane do it ok, so why can't hasbro do it is crazy
Nice review. Will you be reviewing the storm collectibles yujiro hanma? it looks good.
IDK who that is so... Probably not
@anthonyscustoms would you be interested in reviewing the McFarlane BvS Ben Affleck Batman?
I think i have it on order
Its a very good figure, but I could easily see hasbro make it again in a year or two with an unmasked headsculpt and some web effects.
Hey Anthony! I'm looking forward to buy the mafex hush batman but currently it's sold out on bigbadtoystore. Will it be restocked anytime soon?
Mafex reissues figures so I'm sure you'll get another chance
@@AnthonysCustoms thanks for the reply
I still hate that neck joint and I’m not a fan of the drop down legs
I wanted to get this figure but I'm tired of this mold, I wish they changed it.
I really want a good Spidey with Jada-like articulation...
I think someone could customize that new Dhalsim into a Spidey 🤔
how are you opening the package without breaking it???
Cutting a flap at the bottom
Stayin in the box this one!
That’s why I got 2.
Love the review as always, are you going to do the marvel select Crimson Dynamo??
I believe so
I want to know if the ML team genuinely doesn't know how to make good, functioning articulation, or they don't care enough to make it good.
The thing is that they aren't replacing or teaching the people doing the crappy work.
Says the guy that likes Toybiz figures.......
toybiz doesnt make figures anymore. what are you talking about?
@@AnthonysCustoms Was talking about Chewy Mew not you
@@SuperFigures-ql2dv Yeah, I like ToyBiz, but how is that relevant my comment?
I've been waiting for this review from you for a while 😂 I'm still in doubts about picking up Scarlett spiderman
Can the sculpted hood come off
Nice review ! Will you be getting any of the no way home individual releases ? The andrew one is good but i wish its shoulders were placed higher, better ab crunch and more accurate paint !
No plan to. Sorry
@@AnthonysCustoms no worries sir !
@hanzo_hasashi5 He did review the NWH Spider-Man 3 pack, and the new Tom Holland suit, if you haven't seen those
@@chewymew aah yes you’re right ill check those out ! Thanks man
@@hanzo_hasashi5 Yeah, you're welcome!
Love your vids keep up the great work
Thanks a lot
That neck and body got a lady has for a really drops the ball when it comes to muscle definition on Comic characters they can really drop the ball on sculpting and that neck is hideous the eyes look good wish they could follow through all the way and make it the way it should be love your videos Anthony keep up the great work👍👊
Thanks for watching
With all its flaws, I prefer it over the mafex. I feel like the mafex is just way too skinny.
Basically all of the mafex are too skinny. I guess you have to buy into the line as a whole but i haven't done that yet
@@AnthonysCustoms that’s just too much of an investment, but if they ever consider re doing Spider-Man and making him buffer, I’ll bite. But I don’t see that happening especially with them just doing the black suit and the Ben Riley designs
A very clean figure and love the vibrant colors
Hmmmmmmmmmm I'm still annoyed he didn't come with a alt head. How hard would it have been to just take the same peter head from the RYV pack. And make his hair blonde. Well actually, Ben did not bleach his hair until he became Spider-man.
For some odd reason I’m able to look past an ugly joint if it’s its functional and has good range.
Just ok for me, i think ill just flip my preorders in a few months
This figure turned out about how I expected, alright but nothing exceptional. That said I can’t wait for Hasbro to make a figure based on the new Ultimate Spider-Man that uses this mediocre body mold that doesn’t even match the physique of the character properly.
This is gonna be one of the few ml I have in my collection but even when they do some good hasbro gonna hasbro
Truth brother, truth.
Thanks for the video!
You bet
The incrementally better, but still flawed method has to be intentional at this point.
I'm starting to think they purposely leave flaws so that they get you to buy the next updated one😭
The hood kinda looks like it's floating due to the small shoulders.
Hasbro doing Hasbro. This figure could've been so much better. People got so hyped about it because the rest are so much crappier.
People got excited because the previous one is crazy expensive. People would but any crap at RRP and I guess Hasbro knew it too.
No size comparison or mafex comparison 😮
happy easter
i was waiting you to drop this one :D really interested in your opinion :)
I was looking forward to the review of this. I think its great figure. I usually avoid marvel legends ...very rare i pay full price for one. maybe im brainwashed by this channel. But I did buy this tho. Its worth it.
It's impossible to be brainwashed by the truth. It's just education/enlightenment
His legs are floating from his hips lol
I wish it had shading. The red is too flat.
Hasbro continues to get the colors wrong on every Scarlet Spider action figure in some way.
Inhipe you review the jada toys Dhalsim ,its awesome for what i have seen
I'll be reviewing all of them but they don't get stocked locally so i have to wait for bbts.
I think you got a bad copy mine has good butterfly and the legs are really good
That head tho
Dude lacking the disc hinge in the neck is unacceptable, I like this release but they're going backwards with head/neck articulation.
disc hinge sucks, they just need to do dumbbell joints actually good
Nah, the disk hinge is going backwards.
At this point just get the mafex or try to kit bash it because the mafex scarlet spider is pretty expensive for what it is tho
It’s still a terrible body and they think that neck is so great that they did it to the Haslab.
Man...i can't Wait for the haslab review. I hope it's great... I doubt it will be.
WHERE TF YOU GUYS BUYING THESE EVERY INTERNET PAGE I LOOK IS ON PRE ORDER 😭😭😭
How many international sellers did you look at? They're key if you want a figure early.
I buy all my ml from bbts. Get your pre-order in early and your order gets filled early (compared to later orders}
@@AnthonysCustoms ahh people made it sold-out too fast but i will try my chance next time :/
@@AlanDavidDoane like all of them which doing shipping to my country and all of them are listed as pre order so..
I get most agree the mafex is better but come on you’re comparing a $25 fig with a $125 figure ….these are toys. I get we collect them , me for the nostalgia and these are leaps and bounds better than the marvel figs I got as a kid (which I also loved by the way )
i didnt compare them
When they got the hang of it decade ago, everyone said hasbro proportions is leagues ahead of toy biz, but how come they still look like scrawny cosplayers. 🤷♂️
Usually when people are comparing Hasbro's proportions to ToyBiz, they're referring to arm length, hip width, hand sizes, and shoulder sizes. Hasbro does beat them when it comes to that, but ToyBiz knew how to sculpt heroic people, they just didn't know how to combine that with the articulation they had, thus bad proportions.
the head articulation is atrocious
Decent figure but its not good enough. I wish hasbro put more effort to at least make it comparable. But no unmasked head, no squinted eyes, no web effects, its just baffling to me how low effort these figures are. If it had the better proportions and the jada toys neck and torso articulation with the all the accessories it would easily beat the mafex in terms of value. But because it doesn't have those things its just another example of Hasbros lazy way of making action figures purely for money.
Mafex one is better.
Hands are fine can't really expect more from hasbro
You can
Shoulders too low.
Off topic but ever since you got married it seems as though we will never get to see your line of figures . While i understand priorities i think its unfortunate since i see other ppl in this space having successful campaigns who probably just did it on a whim with what i personally see as ridiculous figures .
I think he was already married before he started working on his line. He halted his progress because he had a kid. Getting married had nothing to do with it
@@chewymew i dont think so .And the question is for him not you .
Well, I'm not him, but that's the answer he's given every time it's been brought up
@@chewymew you dont comprehend english very well do you ?
What's that supposed to mean?
The original sunfire body is better than this one IMO. Also, ML retro falcon has the improved larger shoulders so I'm not sure why they decided not to use them.
Omg you have a gripe with everything smh.
These are reviews...
This figure is good and you know it’s good. You are the worse reviewer on RUclips. And I understand because you have your samurai ninja figures in the making. How original.
oh look. one of those original hasbro fans who thinks marvel legends are good figures. i should definitely take what he says seriously.
@@AnthonysCustoms You should, you’re the same guy who gave Neca good reviews and those figures are literally statues. Just say you dislike Hasbro 👋🏿🤙🏿
