Hi Ania! I have a german exam tomorrow. I wanted to say THANK YOU- I've learnt with you in just TWO days what I've been studying in class for 4 months- I realized that for some reason, in my institute, they don't give us these little "rules" or "tips" to make it easier for us students to memorize how to use the articles properly. And given that it is my 3rd language (spanish is my mother tongue) it can become a bit confusing at times...but you, dear, you made it so easy to understand! God bless you!
@@SekTauBand duo does. you have to click on your lesson(ex: phrases) and there will either be a lightbulb or tip button. click that and it gives you some insight to the lesson. the only thing though, is duo doesnt explain it as in depth as this video does. but duo is still great for expanding vocabulary!

Hello greeting from deaf America. I actually enjoy learning German Accusative and also, Nominative and Dative too. You are the best teacher. I hope I learn German very quick. Wish me a good luck! :) Ich liebe Deutsche!
your classes are awesome , i am brazilian and i am studing german about 3 years and some stuffs are so hard to understand , and u make be easy , nice job , congrats.
Du machte die deutsche Fälle sehr einfach für mich. Ich habe Deutsch üben für drei Jahre gewesen und jetzt ich verstehe alles endlich haha! Dankeschön von Amerika
You are a life saver. I have had German at school since the first grade (only now, more than a decade later, decided I like German enough to learn it as a 3rd language), and yet we were never taught this. They have always jumped straight to words and subjects we wouldn't need at first anyway (why learn words if you don't know how or when to use them is beyond me). I used to think it was black magic, but in actuality it's quite fun. Thank you.
I am german and there are a lot of german people that cant see the difference between ein and einen, if youre aware or not , your german is better than many german's😂
Habe means have . I habe eine Swester. I have a sister. What do I have? The anwer (a sister) in German must be in Accucasitve case. I hope I could make you understand.
i do believe if you are talking about something other than yourself, you include the case. so if you need, want, have, buy, (if the object isnt existing) then the case is included. where as a simple statement like "Ich bin ein mann" (i am a man) theres no accusative case. because we know that "ein mann" is existing because we know its reffering to you, the person speaking. dont quote me on this, im still a beginner in the language. but i think thats how it works..
Whenever you have a (direct) object in your sentence, which is being directly impacted by the action of subject, then you've to use the accusative case. For example, Ich esse einen Apfel. (I'm eating an apple.) Here, the task of eating is being done, so "essen" is the verb used here. Now who is doing this action? Who is eating? "Ich"! So, "Ich" is the subject. Now who is effected by this action? Who is being eaten here? "Apfel", because due to this action apple is no more. My action created an impact on it. So, it'll be in the accusative case. Anja taught throughly in this video how to use this case but if you still have doubts, I can explain further.
@@nonotnoah Tut mir leid, aber ich bin ein Junge. The article of Junge is 'der' ---> (der Junge (maskuline)) and the sentence is in Nomenativ, because if you want to detemine in which case (Fall in German) you have to say it, you have to choose the right question word which has the boy (Junge) as answer. In Nomenativ you have to ask after Who? (wer?)/ What? (was?) In Genetiv you have to ask after Whom? (wessen?) In Dativ after Whom? (wem?)/ Where (wo?) And in Akkusativ Whom? (wen?)/ What? (was?)/ where (wohin?) so the only possible option or the only question word which you can ask after ist Who? (wer?)/ What? (was?) which belongs to the first case 'Nomenative'. You can't ask after 'Akkusativ', because 'Akkusativ' describes mostly things which is in this case not existing. In this case the question is after a person. Ich kaufe einen Bruder weil ich keine Geschwister habe
lol. you bought a brother?
weil throws the verb into its infinitive (haben)

weil doesn't make verb infinitive. modalverbs do. it is a right sentence.

The sentence : Ich kaufe ein___Erdbeere. You change it to Ich kaufe eine Erdbeere.
But before the " transformation " , it shouldn't be already Ich kaufe eine Erdbeere ?
Because " the Strawberry " is " " Die Erdbeere " and " One Strawberry " is " Eine Erdbeere " ?
Following the table that you showed us it should stay the same in any form except for the Masculin one.
