While it's my first time making these jigs, I've learned a lot from the mistakes along the way and I’m sharing those lessons with you!

Nice jigs for the shop. Showing you don't need expensive tools to do things.
Definitely 👍 I’ll use these a lot and opens up more projects to me 👌
I have a couple of crosscut jigs for the table saw. None of them are particularly pretty, but then they are just bits of wood that help make life easier and safer in the workshop. Carry on making stuff.
Yes simple but effective stuff makes all the difference 👌 thanks for watching it’s appreciated
Good projects they turned out great Keep building
Cheers Larry.. top support as always 🤣
Great job making those jigs, I’ve needed to make some for myself for awhile now, thank you for sharing your video and letting others know how to do it
Cheers fella.. have a go at it this was the first time I made one 👌
Good job Billy
Thank you 👌
Very good.
Regarding clamps. Don’t mess around and get some Bessey’s. Money well spent 👍🏾
I’ll look at them definitely, I’m tired of cheap clamps 👌
great vid learn from mistakes that me as well.
Definitely, I made plenty with these 👌
Well done Billy, good how to video!
Thank you 👌👌
Great job. I need to build a sled also and try to get ideas
It was surprisingly easy! Give it a go 👌
Hi Billy, very handy jigs for the table saw, make work a lot easy for continuous cuts. Great workshop project, catch you soon take care
Thank you Shaun 👌
Nice work! I also used pine for the runners on my crosscut sled with no problems. If they do get a little "loose" in the channels from expansion/contraction due to weather/humidity changes, you can wrap some masking tape around them to help fill in the gaps.
Yes I’m sure they will be fine for now, I’ll end ups making another at some point with a bit more functionality to it. 👌
Good job.👍
Thank you 👌
Alright m8 as for your glue and the cold, keep your glue indoors to stop it from going stiff. 👍👍
Yes it’s time to put the glue in the house… mrs will be happy 🤣🤣
Yes, I store adhesive, masking tape, gaffer tape, and all things sticky in the cupboard under the stairs.
@@whomadethatsaltysoup I’ll be doing that 👌
Good job Billy. I've made a couple of crosscut sleds but even though I've been wanting too I've never made a spline jig. Maybe this will encourage me to make one thanks.
Yes fella give it a go.. mines far from perfect but does the job ok..
L I K E 👍👍👍👍👍 😻💓🤩💓😻 💯❣💯❣ 💯💯
Thank you 👌❤️
Don’t forget to wax the runners on your sled. 👍👍
Already done 👌
Nice simple jigs Billy nothing complicated 👍
Yes nice & easy project 👌
Nice project and video. I was thinking maybe as an alternative to pine for the runners getting an inexpensive poly cutting board and cutting into strips. I think it’s the same material as the runners that they sell in the wood working stores or Amazon. Just a thought.
Yes I’m gonna try some of that poly stuff… I asked Shelley if I could cut one of her plastic cutting boards up.. she threatened me with a frying pan 👌
You hardly can't do without jigs. The only thing is ....... they always take up a lot of space when storing.
Next project ....... a jig storing space 🙂 (ceiling?)
Greetz Billy ! (and in this episode "stain-less" Shelley)
Part of this workspace going forward is some sort of storage and I’m looking at the ceiling area 👌 .. Shelley said she needs a day off 🤣🤣
@@thewoodjunki Spending money I presume! 😂
@@MisterJ56 probably… 🤣🤣
Regarding clamps I recently bought some 6 inch or 150 mm clamps by jorgensen
Any good?
Yes very good indeed. I've bought 2 packs of 4
Your content is fine as it is man!
All the best 👍
Cheers fella 👌
