Thanks Emma for the useful video as usual :) I've realised, these mixed conditionals are the reason why I got confused with conditionals.
    (1) If I had won the lottery, what would you like me to buy you?
    (2) If she had pick up the phone, she would know she would know she was accepted in her dream job.
    (3) If he hadn't quit his job, he wouldn't be as happy as he is now.
    (4) If I were more athletic, I would've run the half marathon last month.
    (5) If she wasn't so tired, she would've gone hiking this morning.
    (6) If I were fluent in English, I would have given a better presentation last Monday
    (7) If tomorrow wasn't Monday, I would've drunk beer all afternoon.
    (8) If she didn't have an important exam next week, she would've been so stressed.
    (9) If I wasn't moving next month, I wouldn't have to book that expensive packing service.

Hi Emma!! Let me take a big breath first....If mmmEnglish hadn't existed on youtube, we wouldn't studying conditionals. great lesson Emma, your explanation was stupendous as always. You are giving us a lot of valuable information to work with!! But this only part of our journey to become fluent in English, so let's work on it!!
    Here my examples:
1.- If I had won the lottery, I would be travelling around the world.
2.- If she had picked up the phone, I wouldn't be agry now.
3.- If he hadn't quit his job, he would have enough money to buy a car.
4.- If I were more athletic, I would have won the conpetition.
5.- If she wasn't too tired, she would have came with me to the beach.
6.- If I was fluent in English, I would have had a better job
7.- If tomorrow wasn't Monday, I would have gone hiking on the mountains.
8.- If she didn't have an important exam next week, she would joined us on our two-weeks vacation trip to Paris.
9.- If I wasn't moving next month, I wouldn't have been busy packing my stuff last month.**
**Quick quest for this sentence: can it be in present? ....I wouldn't be busy packing my stuff THIS month.
Or it have to be only: future---past?
Thank you very much again Emma for you valuable time.
This doesn't end here. I going to watch your videos as many times as I need to dominate these beautiful lovely conditionals. From Zero to mixed.😊

    4. If I were more athletic, I would have worked as a model.
    5. If she wasn't so tired, she would have gone to the party.

    7. If tomorrow wasn't monday, we would have gone to the campsite.
    8. If she didn't have an important exam next week, she would have been on vacation right now.
    9. If I wasn't moving next month, I would have bought this beautiful furniture.

The most difficult part for me is "a future action ➡a past result."
    Here are my conditional sentences:
a past action ➡a present result:
    1) If I had won the lottery, *I'd buy a lamborgini.*
    2) If she had picked up the phone, *my issue would be solved.*
    3) If he hadn't quit his job, *he'd be promoted by now.*
a present condition ➡a past result:
    4) If I were more athletic, *I'd have won the competition.*
    5) If she wasn't so tired, *she'd have done the chores.*
    6) If I was fluent in English, *I could have talked to the man.*
a future action ➡a past result:
    7) If tommorow wasn't Monday, *I'd have gone out with my friends today.*
    8) If she didn't have an important exam next week, *she'd have gone shopping with us yesterday.*
    9) If I wasn't moving next month, *I wouldn't have had to call to the owner of my apartment.*

    Hi Emma,
Your teaching is excellent. I love learning English from you. Your Mixed Conditional lessons are fine. I can correctly answer your quiz.
I am a native of Kottayam district, Kerala State, India. Malayalam is my mother tongue and first language. Nobody speaks English in day to day life here. There are many English medium schools here. In a few years more people will start speaking English here. Thanks for your time and labor.

Hi Emma! First of all, thank you for the excellent explanation :). Second, here are my answers:
    1) If I had town the loterry, I would be travelling by now.
2)If she had picked up the phone, she would be talking with her mom now.
3)If he hadn't quit his job, he wouldn't be renting a flat.
4)If I were more athletic, I would have won a medal gold.
5)If she wasn't so tired, she would have studied more.
6)If I was fluent in English, I would have spoken better in my final exams.
7)If tomorrow wasn't Monday, I wouldn't have to wake up earlier.
8)If she didn't have an important exam next week, she would have gone to bed earlier.
9)If I wasn't moving next month, I would have been looking for houses. (not very sure about this one)
I hope you can answer them!!

Hello Emma! Literally,Not only one of your explicit instructions to improve English knowledge is very major but also to achieve my goal by learning English also. 1) If I had got on that plane, I would be getting a delicate experience. 2) If I had won the lottery, I would own a brand new car. 3) If she had picked up the phone, I would not be completing all these reports lonely. 4) If he hadn’t quit his job, he would not be paying his bank loans. 5) If I mow athletic, I would have got more fitness not the body but also my brain. 6) If she wasn’t so tired she would have carried all those furniture into my room. 7) If I was fluent in English, I would have improved my speaking skills as same as native English speakers. 8) If tomorrow wasn’t Monday, I would have visited my grandma’s in this morning. 9) If she didn’t have an important exam next week, I would have studied German language with her next Friday.

    • @mmmEnglish_Emma
      @mmmEnglish_Emma  4 года назад

Awesome!! In number 5, 'mow' isn't quite the correct verb. What did you mean here? And look at number 6: "If she wasn't so tired, she would have carried all of the furniture into my room."

Thank you for the great lessons Emma,
If I had won the lottery I would be traveling in Europe.
I she had picked up the phone they are now best couple to go out with.
If he hadn’t quit his job his wife would left him by now.
If I were more athletic, I could have tried the gymnastics.
If she wasn’t so tired she would made to the New Years celebration.
If I was fluent in English, I would have enjoyed more in the High school exchange program in the USA.
If tomorrow wasn’t Monday, I would go out for a drink tonight.
If she didn’t have an important exam next week, she would go out with you tomorrow.
If I wasn’t moving next month, I would help you with your project.
