To be fair, Tasty never advised wacking to make brownies less dense like the question said, they do it to even everything out and get more crackling on the top. They obviously do become denser.

Between the two, brownies are more cake rather than cookie and here’s my argument:
Brownie BATTER, not dough.

Donald Piniach My argument: Hot dog is a sandwich.
Reason: Definition of a sandwich is a meal usually consisted of a meat and/or vegetables that is transported to the mouth by a drier starch holding that food (bread). The purpose and origin of a sandwich was created for workers who needed a meal on the go without the use of a fork and knife, so they used bread to take it with them. Normally, a sausage was eaten with a fork and knife with sides like potatoes, sauerkraut, cabbage (Germany). So the bun was made as a means of transporting that sausage (Hot dogs are in the sausage family). So the structure (meal in a bread), and purpose (to eat conveniently without utensils) perfectly fits in the category of “sandwich.”

I think they're talking about different timing. Penny assumes you don't want it burned so you would pull it out early ergo no crisp edge. But yeah of course if it burns it'll be crispy probably too crispy

200grams of butter - 2-3grams of 10-15mg weed.
First i take your ground up cannabis and then you put it into a vacuum bag.
Boil some water but dont let it actually boil it should I kind of be simmering
Put your weed inside the boiling water and leave it like for ninety minutes
Let your weed cool down before continuing
2infusion
Set up double boiler and melt your butter
Add in your ground up cannabis
Wait four Hours
Strain your butter and let it solidify
Use it as intended to be used in the normál brownie

The edge versus middle question depends entirely who made it. If I baked the brownies, the edge pieces are glorious - but only because I’ve long since learnt how to not overbake brownies despite them being brown and difficult to gauge the doneness by color. Not that many people know how to avoid that, unfortunately, so for most other people’s brownies I’ll have a middle piece.
Penny will always have a special place in my heart. I made her chocolate chip cookies, I even smoked the butter. Heaven.

I use the fudgie recipe from Basics with Babish, and I loved it so much I decided to make them at least once a month.

After this video, I have learned that brownies are more complicated than it seems to be and that Penny knows how to make "special" brownies ;)
The crisp edge and surface are what make brownies special. In my experience that comes from the more cookie than fudgy kind. Nuts interfere with the texture too much for me, but some Kahlua is appreciated.
For those of you who wanted an answer for the special ingredient question, here it is.
[Edited to let you know 2gs of reclaim or wax per 1/2 cup (one stick) of butter is a good starting ratio. At least for me.]
If you collected reclaim from a rig just put it directly in melted butter or coconut oil at a low heat. That's it. Nothing else. Use it like you would any fat in any recipe.
If you are using wax, you will need to decarb. Put your wax in a pyrex dish or a silicone puck and bake at at most 250 degrees farenheit. If your oven can go lower, set at 225-250. Bake for about half an hour or better yet, just judge it based off of the bubbles. If it has mostly stopped bubbling (a little bit is ok), it has decarbed. Now you just add it to a fat like you would the reclaim.
For bud....honestly don't know but that one seems to be an easy google or youtube search away.
For a delicious recipe for an easy no bake chocolate peanutbutter cookie, search for no bake cookies from Preppy Kitchen. Follow that recipe to the t, except first melt the butter and add the reclaim or decarbed wax then add the rest of the ingredients. I used 2gs of reclaim and a g of decarbed wax. One cookie was enough to send you to sleep.

@@DewSocks the question was about the special ingredient for special brownies. Follow my instructions and add your prefered fat (with the special ingredient in it) into the brownie mix you've bought or prepared. I suggested the no bake cookie recipe because it's easier and quicker than brownies and there is no high temp baking that could possibly negatively affect the potency. But that's just my personal fear of wasting product kicking in.

I've never had an issue making brownies in glass dishes (unless it was an issue with the oven) but it might be because of Rose's comment about lowering the oven temperature which I always did anyway.
