@@Megastaraddict There is no agency involved in this process. My wife received the DS-2019 from a professor at Kansas State University through the mail. Once we received it, we applied for a visa interview at the U.S. embassy in Chennai. We got a slot within a month, successfully completed the interview, and submitted our passports there. Within a week, the U.S. embassy sent our passports with the attached visas through the mail.😊
