What I saw here was testamony to an old saying with another twist! What goes up, must come down. In viewing the road that you were heading down, I couldn't help but think "What goes down, must come back up"!!! It can get kind of gnarly!!! Good video. Thanks for posting!!!
Seems so many times when a winch is need the desired direction is in reverse. I'm wondering if a receiver hitch on both the front and the back with winch electrical connections on both ends would be the more ideal solution. (Maybe some drawbacks with that concept too.)
we do when going over a mix of high and low snow pack. For example snow drifts or creek beds where the snow pack is very little. As far as traction when breaking trail doesn't seem to make a difference
The only time it bugs me is when your completely stopped and turned the wheel all the way in any direction like to do a U turn. otherwise it’s fine, just keep the gear oil clean and full
@@maxb9135 ok thanks! I love the look! How does it drive on the highway? I'm looking at lifting mine and I'm between the 3.5" and the 4.5" kits and I am going to do a lot of highway driving so I want something that'll drive decent.

Very nice! I hope to fix up my XJ one day as well
Thats oregon In a xj for ya.i live in prospect and snow wheeling is a must in winter with good friends
ok, boys - good video - liked it very much - hopefully more to come - yeah!
Thumbs Up! Good driving techniques!
Great vids, Man! Looks like we run a lot of the same trails. Here's to pulling each other out some day!
Great video. Your jeep gets around in the snow just fine with 33s.
Nice Jeep

Cherokee XJ rock!
Ya gotta love a winch!
I have seen you around before you have my dream car lol
Get you one buddy. Play hard .
I have a 99 CJ and am in Minden NV. We should offroad some time
Try snow wheeling at around 6 psi on your Cherokee. My96 Cherokee with a rear locker and 33inches Yokohama geolanders ats is unstoppable.
Great video, what size are your tires?
33”
Next time you end up stuck sliding like that you can put that spare tire down in the ditch and crawl over it to get the front end up out and over.
You folks know how to live.
Does your jeep have lockers??
yes
Anyone know if you should disconnect your swag bars for snow?

Executive attitude: JEEP
What tires are you running?
Km2 bfgoodridge
Nice Jeep. Upgrades done?
There’s lots of upgrades but basically a 3.5” lift on 33” tires with SYE and 4.56 gears. Detroit locker in rear and a selectable locker upfront.
How’s that Detroit locker manners on pavement?
The only time it bugs me is when your completely stopped and turned the wheel all the way in any direction like to do a U turn. otherwise it’s fine, just keep the gear oil clean and full
Ok was wondering about that cause I heard they’re not the best for roads. I went with the truetrac for the rear and locker up front.
What year's your Cherokee? What brand of tires are you running? They seem to work great in the snow.
tire pressure looks high...
What lift and tire size?
rubicon 4.5" on 33" tires
