Very cool.
An interesting followup would be to set up a 12 man team of HECU as a full squad (tagged to be a unit) with each role setup in that unit. IE: Machine gunners, shotgunners, smgs, medic, engineer. Make it a whole unit and give them a node graph for navigation. See what happens then.
Yes, combined arms, please! And a .50cal!
@@sergeychernyshov7469 You actually can't make a stationary gun target NPCs in Half-Life. The mounted .50 caliber machine guns and armored vehicles with turrets on them are brush entities that specifically shoot at the player.
@@andyfriederichsen I've recently seen a channel with HL NPC battles that included tanks and helicopters.
@@sergeychernyshov7469 That's probably because they were proper tank NPCs and not the entities used to make tanks in Half-Life maps.
@@andyfriederichsen You could make a turret with the mounted .50 cal model and set the damage to the same level as the .50 and the turret health to the same level as a HECU grunt, then just freeze a HECU grunt behind it with 1HP and no weapon
Would have the desired look, and the desired effect
2:05 when you smoke your squad leader and act like nothing happened
1:27 bro I legit started shaking my head like it's a beat hahaha
The way they shoot with the S.A.W. is almost rithmik to the soundtrack.
Rhythmic, and the term is called "talking guns"
I like that the zombies sometimes gib the grunt corpses if enough of them attack at once
Gibbing was one of the things I most missed in HL2. Sure the ragdoll physics were fun but there is something satisfying seeing an enemy blown to chunks from near or pointblank explosions.
@@jcohasset23 Or just your crowbar. That.... all powerful crowbar
I love opposing force, so much nostalgia.
If those HECU magdumped their M249s there's no way that horde would've survived
Hard stats with the Grenade Launchers... The Grunts did more damage to their own side than the zombies did.
It would be cool to see a mixed group in action. Most with SMGs, a couple with shotguns, and one with the S.A.W. With a mix of hand grenades and grenade launchers too.
And also some boxes for hgrunt cover. They love to do hit and run tactic
Go recon! Lets go! Move in!
Thank you!👍 It was good if the zombies in the game met in such large groups.🧟♀️🧟🧟♂️
This was somehow pretty satisfying
Would be better if you added movement for them, that is full of their AI, to take cover retreat and such.
2:40 'huh, sniper school should pay'
Nice detail with the commander in the middle :)
This is like a disorganized British line formations walking to the revolutionaries violently
Do allied NPC stats also adjust for each level difficulty? I was thinking that since you're playing as a HECU in OpFor, the grunts become your allies and so their stats won't change at all. hence why HL1 grunts won over OpFor grunts...or maybe it's because the HL1 grunts only faced 24 zombies LOL!
All monster stats adjust.
@@OpenMawProductions Not all of them. Friendly NPCs don't get any health increases.
So much nostalgia. I remember Half-life.
I remember doing stuff like this in the first Unreal game back in the day! So much fun
watch this video blow up. the guy will have 10k sub by the end of march
This is great❤
now i really wish there was a zombie survival half-life game
I didn't know zombies can even gib their enemies. crazy.
6:47 Points for trying.
0:36 they are to many move back move back!
question. are there two grunt designs? cause i know theres different hecu designs but in opposing force there is a grunt with a white helmet and one with green helmet i think
Do these marines know they can use legs? They were born with two ffs
Is big ceiling turret vs small ceiling turret possible?
Valve made zombies way too tough on Hard difficulty. They literally have twice the health they do on Normal difficulty (100 instead of 50) and NPCs using MP5s only do 3, 4, and 5 damage on Easy, Normal, and Hard difficulties respectively.
HECU vs Sentry Turrets?
Wow
now i want to play half life stratigy game
RATTLE THEM BOYS!!!
opfor ve hl1 grunts?
No!!! Hecu ve Black Ops maybe.
Opfor has more HP
Those who say hl hgrunt and opfor still same, opfor hgrunt have more increased accuracy than hl hgrunt.
Если бы солдаты перемещались по полю битвы, а не стояли на месте, они бы победили в первом бою.
Machine gun is EPIC weapon
What about Half Life Hecu vs Opfor Hecu
Go OpFor HECU vs Alien grunt
1 dude with crowbar would destroy them both
Do the black mesa
The hecu would have won all of them if they could move
Now do otis vs hecu
how and in what game did you do this?
What's your CPU?
