im a new drummer who just got this same set. ive played bass and guitar for over 20 years and programmed drums with ezdrummer for 3, but now Im trying to legit learn to play the kit so I need these vids keep em coming!

@@missmistyeyedd don't wait to buy a cheap model then if you are learning. Ten years ago I was playing in a cheap 300€ model and was the best purchase I ever had. Search for Alesis models. Also, glad I'm an inspiration to someone, thanks! :)

Hey, this topic is hard to explain just with text but I can try it. In one hand, I record MIDI notes with an USB connected from my Roland to my PC in Reaper (free audio editor) and use an external plugin to find the right sound. There are a lot of different plugins but mine is EZDrummer. On the other hand, I record with my phone the video, put it in DaVinci Resolve (free video editor) with no sound and merge it with the sound I did in Reaper. It's a complex process but when you get used to it it's really easy. Hope that helps :)

@@metalhead2221 I figured it out on my own. It's a complex procedure and sadly there isn't a good video out there that covers all the needed topics. So go step by step and find some good tutorials on midi, plugins, etc.
can i ask how you get and add extra symbols and attachments to your kit? i have a lower end simmons e kit and i was looking to put a splash symbol on it and give it a better bass drum
@@the_ginger_drummer My Roland just has the option to add one extra cymbal to the module. It has a dedicated jack input to expand the kit if you want to. I don't know if it's possible in your kit. Same with the bass drum, it's possible to upgrade to some models (not all work I think). Hope it helps!

Yo can you please tell me how you select those tunes i got the exact kit and ill like the copy of yours
The tunes are not achivable in the kit itself. I use an external plugin that replaces my roland sounds to a more real ones.
