Great tutorial!!! I was excited when you got your 770 as I have the same machine. I am so disappointed that you are having trouble with it. Keep persistent with your dealer. There is no way you should be having to hold the thread at the beginning and wrapping the thread around the bobbin tension button!! The thread cutter should work as well. I had to take mine in for work as well. That being said, this machine is such a diva and takes a LOT of work to get to learn its fussiness, I will admit. I had a 440 before this and with good reason it is probably one of the most beloved Bernina’s. I hope you are able to get it fixed. 💗
Just bought my first Bernina a couple weeks ago (770QEE), same as yours but not the Tula edition. Love it so far but def. different than my Brother embroidery/sewing machine. Quite a learning curve but it's my dream machine so I won't complain! After I master sewing, I will get to the embroidery part. It's good to learn new things, challenges my old brain. lol.
Thanks for the fun project. You don’t have to thread the thread holder on your thread stand. Just slide the thread across the back and it will slip in. You channel is great. Thanks again.
I bought a few of her designs and I really wish she had a pdf on step by step instructions. Like when to lay what fabric down at what time. Thanks for the video, very cute
Love this project! One tip... I simply use a glue stick or a tape runner (used for scrap booking) between the two fabrics for stabilizing while embroidering. Just be sure you don't put it where the needle will stitch through the glue. It will gum up the needle.
Girl! Use the tension adjustment in the bernina software. It'll reset when you power down your machine and it really really really helps. I took a Bernina U class earlier this year and we did some cool stuff adjusting the tension way up and the machine can do it!
Pro tip: invest in one of these male to female usb extension cables. It's about $5. Since you're plugging and unplugging your usb key so often to load designs to your machine, you don't want to strip the contact directly to your machine. And if the cable gets damaged, just get another for $5! www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CJG2ZYM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
These videos actually made me buy an embroidery machine! I have the Husqvarna Diamond Royale. So far nothing has been a disaster but I’d love some more things to make like this. Also, loving your video’s and they have inspired me to make my own patterns!
You totally won at "Bobbin Chicken"...lol. I'm soo excited for this tutorial. When I come home from vacation I plan to make a bunch of these to add to Christmas gifts
Hi & Fantastic vid. I have a Brothers Embroidery machine (2 yrs now) and I have an anxiety attack whenever I start a project. I tried to do a blob fish on a bath mat, "bald is beautiful" & it really sucked. I've done sewing only since then. I may need a stiff drink to begin a 2nd project. How do you guys do it so beautifully? Well, now you've laid down the gauntlet. My challenge is I have no computer so I can only use patterns in machine & bought a flash drive with some, but can't do digital downloads without a computer, so I'm very limited. Love my smartphone but doesn't have ART, PET, etc. format.❤
Thank you for your tutorials! Very fun. I ordered some "bag making vinyl" from amazon and made some of these. I used vinyl on the inside pocket too, and the plastic KAM snaps...when I tried to open the snap, it ripped right though the vinyl...is there a certain type (strength) of vinyl I should look for, or is there a interfacing I can use so this doesn't happen?? Thanks.
Ooooo I haven't seen that problem yet. Usually my plastic snaps rip apart. How big of a hole did you make for the snaps? With the plastic snaps I usually use an awl and just poke the smallest hole for them.
Looks cute but not very practical for a hand sanitizer holder. You want to be able to keep the holder clean, the felt and satin stitches are magnets for dirt. There are plenty of ITH designs which use marine vinyl and straight stitches which are much easier to clean.

I absolute love how it informative your videos are and how in-depth you go to explain how you do things!!!!

Love the tip to cover machine bed so vinyl doesn’t stick…great idea!
OMG!!!! putting the tear away on the machine is genius!!! i will probably do that and just leave it!!!!
It helps a lot! Especially when sewing vinyl.
I have made at least 10 of these so far today. But, boy I am glad I have a BabyLock Destiny....never a problem with tension...
My Babylock Elissimo Gold same -- never a problem.....

I love your tutorials. I don’t have a embroidery machine. Could you make a pattern for hand sanitizer for bath and body works on a sewing machine?

These are so addictive to make! Thanks for the great tutorial! I love watching all of your videos!

Yeah I would definitely use the proper tension adjuster built-in rather than rig my own up. I can't risk hurting my baby 770. lol

That's amazing!! I'm so happy to hear how much you're creating! I can't wait to see your patterns.
These look like fun!

Absolutely adorable!
Love it!!! Great stocking stuffers!!
I love all your tutorials! Thank you. Is it necessary to use cotton lycra for this project?
Thanks for another great tutorial. What is the smallest size hoop you can use? Sorry if I missed this. I only have a small machine. Thanks xx
Absolutely fabulous!!!
Love your videos. Do you think you can make them with fabric instead of vinyl?
Hi Jess, I looked for the link for the hardware but I did not see it. Where did you get the rainbow clasp and ring?
Off topic, but where did you get your Mickey Ring? Love it!
Do you suppose you could do a design cut out with a cricut machine

Just used the awl. Ripped right through the vinyl. Might be cheap vinyl.
what is weight of bobbin & top thread? Love the holder
What brand hand sanitizer fits this 2 oz design? There are different shapes.
As a beginner, would you recommend buying both tear away and cut away stabilizer? Can you one for both purposes
No. There is a purpose for each one. There are You Tube videos explaining this.
Where is that rainbow lobster claw from? Great video!
Where did you purchase the yellow bobbin holder to help with tension?
At my local Bernina dealership.
What embroidery machine do you recommend for beginners?
You’re Bernina dealer should be able to fix your thread cutter and for free if it’s within a year of your purchase! I love my Bernina.
Love 💘 Love it
How did you get both designs on your flash drive so you could sew two at the same time? I am computer challenge. Lol
The file is set up to sew two at once. It depends on the size hoop you're using, but there is the option to sew 1 or 2.
I need your design where can I get the pattern?

I wish I live in u r country. I will be your brightest student.... Mother of two daughters....
