I’ve been liking these.
Reminds me of when the pop punk and emo bands of my HS years ( 04 grad) would cover the cure, the ramones, Sex Pistols, etc. I’m ashamed to admit I discovered some of those classics from hearing the covers first.
It might be a cool feeling to be that influence on someone now.
That’s why we cover the songs. Not to cover the history but uncover the memories and bring them back.

I went into this not sure what to think as I love the Cure and especially this song. It took a bit to warm up to it, but I do love seeing it as a more upbeat song. Looks like you had fun in the video, too.

The graveyard is beautiful ! So many old stones.
I always loved seeing American graveyards, there is so much green, trees, space , while many of ours (where I was born , in a small town of 7 - 9k people) are crowded, just rows and rows of headstones and 1 × 2,5 meter rectangles , flowers within the space, but neatly separated by bricks, so there is not much space in beteeen for amything to grow.
Oh and most of the pathways are filled with pebbles.
Often the space left is so narrow you have to set one foot in front of the other to not step on a grave or the marble or whatever bricks - , set up like a fence, like:
" This is my space I pay for , keep out and dont dare step on it accidentially " - kind of mentality, instead only a headstone and grass all over the place.
(Not to say I would step or even hop on someones grave out of disrespect) , but wouldn't it be nicer to sit in front of a hesdstone and think of the person laid to rest there, instead to maneuver between all these brick "defense - lines" ?
It's really difficult in many of the crammed rows.
