Absolute win for Francis. I believe Dana has been on record saying "this isn't a career, it's an opportunity" and Francis heard that loud and clear. He leaves with his hype and his first fight outside of the UFC will probably be worth his entire contract. Eventually, these fighters will smarten up and want to test FA. Can't start losing all your draws, eventually the UFC will have to pony up. O'Malley has already said that he's not going to extend and hit FA when the time comes. Glad these fighters are finally going into business for themselves.

So, all this justification for it being okay for Dana to hit his wife is invalid. Dana is a powerful man with a lot of money, and it is a high possibility that he may have cheated on his wife many times. Maybe they could have been having an argument about that, and his wife slapped him because she was emotionally broken.

It's not about drawing big crowds. It's about getting your fair share of the revenue you generate. UFC fighters are the most underpaid in all of major sports. And won't let him box on the side to earn a different more massive stream of revenue. Pigs get fat and slaughtered. UFC is failing to sign the best talent. Jones is moving up to heavyweight, blaydes is 7-1 in his last 8 only losing to Lewis could see the argument that his already beat him twice but so did Volk and we saw Holloway get the chance. Gane put on a clinic on tai and Francis could prove he’s a much better fighter fully healed. There’s plenty of match ups Francis doesn’t want to fight too guys when he can go to pfl and fight cans for a little bit more money.
