If we reset is our mobile apps and contacts disappear or they may get deleted?
This was a big waste of time you could have said this in the first place !
Mine works with just “Reset Network Settings”. But sometimes the problem comes back and I need to reset again several times.

It happened to me i just reset all settings and deleted an app with alot of storage and i worked but the microphone and speaker does not work
No point to fix it u better off buying a new iPhone the repair cost will be like $300-$400 and u not sure in a yr if u download the software update the same thing will happen again. If u don’t want to this to happen switch to android if u stay with apple the same thing will happen again.

This has worked for me but I noticed if my phone dies when it turns back on the speaker won’t work again so I have to keep resetting until it works

Yes, my phone updated on its own and all of a sudden my sound isn’t working on FaceTime, audio calls and videos when I record. I was working fine yesterday morning then last night, it stopped.
Ok guys I after a week of running around, my carrier issued me a reused phone due to it being a “mechanical issue”. Idk I’d that’s what you’re experiencing but it’s worth a shot.

@exotic _ just get an android phone to avoid this bs.
Resetting the phone multiple times causes the motherboard to heat severely resulting in an expansions on the audio IC due to which the issue might be resolved for a day or a week for some but it is not a permanent solution and this is an known issue with iPhone 7 series.
Need to get the audio IC replaced by a certified technician.
