I have this same mower, been racking my brain for 2 days why it won't stay running, on the verge of buying new carb but after u explained those 2 jets most don't know about, I pulled it apart and full of dirt, you're awesome
Thanks! I have this same mower in my fleet. I appreciate the idle screw and idle jet explanation as that is where i got hung up when cleaning out this particular carburetor. Didn't need the acid or anything, just a copper wire, carb spray and a very good tooth brush!
Man I did exact same step by step but didn’t clean carb I replaced it new one watched vid 3x make sure I did t miss a thing but still won’t start unless I spray carb cleaner it way stay in as long as I hold bar but after I turn it off it won’t restart ?
I used to. I actualy made my own with an old timey shoulder massager barbers used and a metal bucket. Takes to long. The acid i use and carb cleaner work perfect and fast.
the link for the acid doesn't work, got a new one? Also, do you have a source for just a gasket kit? I've tried finding just the gasket kit and have been unsuccessful. Great Video!
@@smallengineguys thanks! bless my heart, whilst cleaning everything and of course the last piece was the needle valve. I didn't know there was a little rubber like piece on the end and it came off during cleaning and I couldn't find a replacement needle valve so I just ordered another OEM carburetor.

Do you ever use an Ultrasonic cleaner for carbs? If so, when would it warrant to do so?

Where can I find the foam air filter?
So if you completely clean the carb, clean out the gas tank, change the spark plug, change the oil. What is the next step?
It needs 3 things yo run. Spark compression and fuel. Spray gas in carb does it try to start at all?
