Irish cacophony lol...that bit on Update kills me everytime! Really glad Bowen joined the cast...I like his energy. People always crap on SNL, but they've had really strong casts the last 10 years or so.

I grew up starting back when SNL was brand new and had all the famous giants like John Belushi and Gilda Radner... There was another great era when I was in college. They had Phil Hartman and Jon Lovitz and Dana Carvey.
And you're expecting me to say it's gone downhill the way a lot of people older than 30 seem to do, but I won't because it hasn't. The recent cast is amazing! I love the stuff I've seen lately and some of the hosts have been absolutely awe-inspiring. Adam Driver kills it every time. Seriously, bring him back. J-lo was great. Adele. Regé-Jean Page had some of the funniest skits in a long time. So did Emma Stone (holy crap she's funny). Even Elon Musk wasn't too bad in every skit, lol. I wish Jason Momoa had been better but he was so starstruck that he was hopeless.
I love your history as a fan of the show! And I totally agree that the current cast is amazing (though a few of the newbies haven’t had a chance to shine yet). The old guard in the 70’s and 90’s had some epic sketches ... check out my “iconic moments” vid ... I think you’ll like it! Thanks for the amazing insight Bee!
