Love this scope but mine went bad after 8 years of air gun use. Contacted Leapers and they sent me a brand new one no questions asked. Can't ask for better customer service than that!
The UTG warranty is awesome. I had a scope that after having for a while, I noticed the crosshairs were not perfectly square with the scope. I emailed them, and they said to send it back. No receipt either. They said the crosshairs were slightly canted and sent a brand new one!
Anyone looking for rings or a scope like this and is concerned because these are, ' made in China" , then let me put your mind at ease. This IS a great and solidly built 'compact' rifle scope. The rings are 'quality' built too,...go ahead try a set and you will see what we have seen,...you will not be disappointed at the purchase. I have this Scope and rings mounted on my CSA VZ58 with CSA"s own scope mount. As it is a relatively short and compact scope it clears the ejection port comfortably, no issues. Man, this works ! Thanks again for suggesting this Daily Shooter.
The Daily Shooter yep its not this scope but it's a utg leapers it's a 9x something rubberized I bought it on Amazon and put it on my first ar but I've been very happy with all my utg products
Compliments to you Daily Shooter, on your extremely well presented and articulated unboxing and review of the UTG Bug Buster scope. Your videos motivated me to purchase one of these fine optics. It is now mounted on my Ruger 10 22 Takedown and I couldn't be happier with the combination of the rifle itself and the scope. A first class optic which exceeded my expectations. You know I'm a new subscriber. Thank you.
Thanks for your review on this scope sir! I'm gonna pull the trigger on one for myself! I've got a red dot on my ar with quick detach, and have been looking for something for longer range that wasn't a foot long, was water and fog proof, and didn't break the bank! I finally kind of settled on this one, and started searching for reviews on it. That is where you came in, and helped me with my final decision. Thanks again sir for taking the time to make the vids on this! I'm subscribing to your channel and look forward to your other vids!
Recently, I purchased this for a combination Competition/Tactical Remington 870 12 gauge Shotgun. Using the Remington 24" rifled slug barrel (ported), this scope easily handled Hornady SST 2 3/4" 300 grain Sabot Slug as well as the Remington Accu-Tip 385 grain Sabot Slug (12 Gauge 2 3/4"). Locked right in and didn't move. Outstanding. Buy it!
Daily Shooter, I also recently began using the UTG Red/Green Dot. Part# SCP-DS3068W along with a 1" full length riser. It is going on our Delta One Tactical Response Project 870. We will have full photos available soon. It is a combination Competition/Tactical Shotgun incorporating the Mesa Tactical full length rail with six round sidesaddle, Urbino Stock with Riser and much more. No safe queen. It is a 100% Purpose Built Shotgun. While there is much more, the Red/Green Dot mentioned above went through way over 200 rounds of Remington/Federal 2 3/4" 12 gauge slugs along with countless rounds of Remington 00 Buck Express. We needed a Red/Green Dot that could handle the continuous shock under any and all conditions. It has fit the bill consistently. I'll stick with UTG from this point forward for all builds.
I've been looking for scopes for my friends shotgun for a while now just under $100. They all had varying reviews but you cleared this up. You tested it for 6 months and after seeing other ratings, i've made up my mind. Thanks for the review :) my friend is gunna love it :D
Those who complain about the product either don't have one, wish they had one, or expect high end results for lesser priced product. Simply out false expectations for fools.

On an A.R. 15 if you zero your rifle at 50 yards you should be good out to 200 yards and 1 inch low at 300 yards so you shouldn't have to spend the dial once you have it sighted in @ 50yds.
This will also depend on the grain bullet you are shooting, I think the 1 inch low at 300 will be much closer to 7 to 8 inches low with more common 62 grain 223/556 bullet.
Very good review. I have several of these on rifles and they live up to the tests. From an AR to 22's to 9mm carbines it fits nice and tight and won't let you down. Very nice!
I had my doubts but decided why not try it? I own other rifles and have high end optics on them but decided lets try a UTG Bugbuster, the size, magnification, and put it on my Colt AR6721. It was clear, allowed me to group my shots really well and I was very happy with the scope. The price makes you doubt it but don't hesitate to purchase. I would get it again.
i just put one of these on my .22 LR rifle and love it. Once its zeroed in, make sure you lock it. And you don't have to really mess with it again. unless you change rifles.
I have and have run the BugBuster straight 6 since last year. perfect testing scope with those rings. come on and of perfect. last tested with a bergara scout .243 without any probb. waiting for an remington 597 .22wmr now and i´ll probably will use this scope as my main scope. love the reticle, and the weight of it. so that with an red dot and the yukon photon xt 4.6 and some good ammo for the rifle I hope will be perfect for fox and varmint. Sweet scopes for that amount of money
I just gotta say thank you I follow your channel and cause of you I LOVE how my AR-15 is coming along I bought this optic and few more things you recommended for new AR rifle owners and gutting into the gun world I just wanted to say thank you
I just bought one for my Ruger Magpul Backpacker. It's going to be perfect because i need a short length scope for it and with the quick detach i can store my red dot in my Takedown backpack and switch between scope to red dot to irons quickly and easily. Oh yeah i bought mine on Ebay for 74.96 free shipping!
This sold me on ordering that scope for my Ruger 10/22 takedown tactical. I'll be putting it on a UTG 22 rail so I can still use the iron sights when I take the scope off. Awesome review man.
Haha I'm sure if you've beaten on yours mine will last a lifetime. I'll have it in my bag with my takedown and probably just use it for small game hunting. Otherwise I like iron sights. I just didn't want to spend over $100 on a scope I'll only use a few times a year!
I own two UTG scopes the bug buster is on my Kel-Tec SU16C, and I also have the Scout Scope 2-7x44 30mm on my Ruger Gunsite Scout .308. Both are durable and have been on hunts and have been able to allow me to keep up with my friends and their $1200.00 optics. Is it as good as theirs? No but it is good enough and it allows me on my budget to have a quality and dependable optic. What the industry needs is more quality products for enthusiast on a budget.
how thick are the crosshairs? Can you easily hit a 12 inch bullseye at 300 yards with this and a good ar 15? I shot my iron sights today at 300 and I just cant see that far anymore. But i got an aimsports 4x32 and the crosshairs are just to thick at 300 yards. (on my other gun) Please Help! I really want to get this for my ar 15 but want to know if you like it for firing at 300 yards (like for groundhogs, small animals long range)
I put this on my Gamo Hornet Maxxim .22 I had to order 11mm H/R scope mounts the ones that come with it wont fit that air rifle. I put a rubber band around the end of the sun shield and the lens cap stays put perfectly!
Great video and you’re right about what you said at the end of your video, I’ve been collecting guns and rifles with optics since the early 90s and this is a good scope.. I know someone who has one. I think I will also get one Thank you
I purchased this scope. I have not shot with it. Ilove the fact that the reticals light up and that you can adjust the windage and elevation with out a tool. It is built with quality. I'm not sure you can find a scope that offers the same for this low price.
I love mine as well......only problem ive seen is people buying them off of Amazon and getting sent clones of lower quality. I have many expensive illuminated reticle scopes from Burris and Vortex and this thing is right up there with build quality.

Im thinking about getting another UTG scope for my CZ 455...I just switched out the stock and barrel for a heavy 22 mag varmint barrel, and varmint style stock...i got the DIP .25 MOA extended rail...just needs glass....might as well go with UTG..which I'm sporting this Bug Buster on my AK.
I have this exact optic and like it alot. It does everything he says it does. My one issue I have with it and it may just be I got a faulty optic is when I have it mounted to my .223 and I am shooting with it, the front adjustable apiture moves from the recoil and I have to readjust every couple shots. I just bought this at Amazon on a "lightning deal" for $58 shipped. Been wanting one of these for over a year but the price just kept going up. This lightning deal was listed on Slickguns and I jumped on it. Someone else did too, I see.

Personally, however, I believe almost every one of these testimonials to be completely fabricated. When one sees a list of "comments", EVERY ONE OF WHICH IS POSITIVE, and employs SUPERLATIVES over and over, it is almost guaranteed to be a marketing effort designed to cover a sub-par product.
Since that is a AO lease, how many turns of the bell does it take to go from 3yds to infinity? Seems like the flip up cover will prevent that.
Nice review. But dude, do you have a duck in the background? :-)) Maybe a ceiling fan running slow and it has a growl every couple of seconds? The sound is mostly out of the left side. Other than that, thanks for the info!
Thank you for making spend more $$$$. I thought we were boyz...

Nice review. Do you happen to know if the UTG Leapers 3-12x32 is suitable for double recoil springer air rifles?
wonder if you can put a Romeo red dot 5XDR on this..
If you detach it from your Pic rail to use on another rilfe and then reattach it using the exact same grooves, will it hold zero?
would it co witness with the A2 iron sight well? would 3/4 or 1 inch riser be the one for AR?
How does the 3x magnification affect CQB compared to a 1x?
Hi I have a bushmaster AR 15 and have the metalic front sight in the barrel, If I buy this one I dont have any problems with that front sight? and thanks for the review.
