Something interesting about the SV era is that every single set, even stuff like SV base and Obsidian Flames, just has objectively the best art design out of any era. I feel like every single set in this era, even the weaker ones, will appreciate into the future very well
Who knows , maybe the next era will have better illustration like Pokémon TCG pocket. Swsh was also more beautiful than the precious era.
I got funny adventure with shrouded fable. I've bought a booster bundle to motivate my son to practice playing piano. He has chosen pack, opened it and pulled earthen vessel SAR. The joy hit the roof.😅
I wld take the top 3 sirs from Paldean fates over the top 3 cards from hidden fates/shiningfates any day

Temporal and Paldean fates are slept on more than I think they deserve, personally.
People seriously sleeping on Temporal. The SIRs and even a lot of the IRs are some of the best artworks we've seen in the SV era, in my opinion. Pulling one of the SIRs they all look crazy good in hand.

I own all the SiR’s in a PSA 10 slab. Multiples of some. Slept on for sure.
Temporal is quality. My favourite S&V set so far. Long neck Raikou is amazing. 😂
The Pokemon are a bit forgettable
Love your content! I feel this video is so unfortunately timed. With the latest card reveal from Supercharged Breaker, I think that makes Surging Sparks the best set we're going to have in the S&V era so far.
Ruler Of The Black Flame is a nice alternative to Obsidian. The Charizard is way more expensive and it's less than a third of the price per box. Less cards in the box but most of that's bulk anyway.

Think paradox is the best set to buy primarily from the price and it has a ton of great cards
I feel like it’s the chilling reign of S&V so far, we’re gonna see some of those cards skyrocket past $50 and $75.
The play imo is surging sparks pre orders. That set is going to go crazy.

@@sleepysheepy911 I sent the link but it's got a pika chase, latias, milotic, Lisia, plus we still have 6 IRs to be shown and 5 SIRs. Among those will prb be a Jasmine SIR. So you have popular Mons good artwork a really big set. The set is already sold out for pre order at a lot of places. I think it's an easy choice.
I think the list is ok, but you missed imo the number 1 product to buy currently which is surging sparks pre orders at 90-95 dollars its going to crush right out of the gate if pull rates stay the same. I think thats easily a better buy then items in its price range and should be a set that performs well in the long run with the hit cards it has.
See, I’m confused. At the start, it sounded like you’d go through the actual cards and give opinions on invest-ability, but you just seemed to look at the numbers and state what’s happening now…
S&V base set, I mean look at the Gardevoir line, we have the Duskull line now with Shrouded, it’s a fun story, the artwork is beautiful. We’ve never had illustration trainers like Miriam or Iono before, Miriam is popular with fans. It’s also got some of the best alt legendaries we’ve gotten so far, personally. I think it’s being slept on and people will look back and see those cards and wonder why it’s so low.
Same with Paradox, no idea how that set’s flown under the radar this long but personally, I’m stocking up on BB, Altaria cards and any reasonably priced Roaring Moon I can find. Under $50? Won’t be that way for long.
Temporal forces is not selling. My area all wallmarts and targets are empty local card shops have temporal falling out of there well you know.

Pokemon center etbs are up like 20 bucks already. Maybe try and find one on a discount. Those are great investments

I've tried searching past videos and through the comments, but what website is that that you use to see all the cards and their value? It has the name of the set and total set value at the top. It looks similar to TCG player but I'm not sure! Just found your channel and am enjoying it!

Twilights best cards (other than greninja) are trainers and guess what, trainers always go down.
I really really believe that twilight is way overrated.
I completely agree with your take comparing SV base to OBF. On top of the price giving it more room to grow, i really think base SV has some really strong illustrations (as well as some of the worst ones). To me, base is better than Temporal and on par with Paradox as a collector. But it’s only better than OBF/SF as an investor. Great video great insight

I think the market is being manipulated with Twilight and I do not think the Greninja is that good. Should be 100 dollars.
I think its obvious PE, TWM because of Greninja, and 151 are S tier thats it for now. We will see what is next for Surging sparks...
I think shrouded fable is a super sleeper. I don't think it got printed enough and will be a solid investment even if demand is low.

TWM has other cards with beautiful artwork.. it’s not all about the Greninja.
great insight Jace, i really like the top cards from each set, Temporal Forces has some great artwork the raging bolt, walking wake cards and even the iron boulder, Cincino art is awesome, the king is the Greninja and Cards like the Charizard , Squirtle, Venasaur and Pikachu, Tyrantar, and Mew will always be the chasers for me, this team Rocket set that is approaching at pace will blow 151 and stella crown away.
SVB is way better then the Obsidian think it was just printed way more

Totally disagree! I think Scarlet and Violet base is a B. The arts are right there with P. Evolved and Paradox
It's a good set it was just too easy to complete the set which killed the value.

I genuinely have no idea why sentiment around Obsidian Flames is so low around people aged 35+, it's got a bunch of boomermons and a Zard for them to chase.
Its obvious its just way over printed with easy hits. Its still selling way more than temporal forces. Temporal is fully stocked and the rest gets sold@spamtonto

@@spamtonto Low value in the packs and it has two other big Charizards to compete with (151 and Paldean Fates). Probably still do fine. The silver Charizard is quality.
