I had travelled on this route from Coimbatore to Mysore in the year 2019, just before Covid 19 restricted my travelling hobby. This route is amazing and truly travellers delight. No doubt KSRTC staff are very courteous. I could see there is a sense of service accorded to passengers by KSRTC staff.
Best driver having good driving skills...every bend he honk and then moved...Each driver should learn skills from Govt. bus drivers...God always bless them...
Hairpin bends are always a challenge. I remember the extreme hairpin bends our tour bus had to negotiate climbing up to Capri in Italy. There are similar hairpin bends from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya in Sri Lanka.

A long decade back I had traveled comibtaore once from mysore omg this hair pin bend are hilarious i was closing my eyes couldn't see that deep forest but journey was amazing really appreciate drivers putting their efforts, life on a risk n making passengers happy & reaching their destination safe... n thanks once again bro to bringing back ma shot memories of this routes wish you a good luck & safe journeys... I am tamilans..but I like ksrtc red buses than Tamil Nadu govt buses..coz ksrtc red allows cabin ride for gents....where as in Tamil nasu govt buses..it reserved for ladies
@@Ash2travel majority Tamil govt buses... Especially Kovai region and Kumbakonam regions buses never allow gents to sit front....some.villuopuram depot buses may allow...not Kovai buses...

kerala rtc left side column is general....any body can sit....15 years ago all front side is gents and back side of the bus is alloted to ladies..those good old days busses ..

I will miss this turbo whistle of Leyland very much however Leyland subsituted the turbo whistle by its roaring engine in BS4 and BS6 buses.
