I haven't looked at it yet, but I'll bet it's the same as my harbor freight predator 2500 generator. I was thinking about using it to do some night fishing. I'll be getting one of the magnetic dip sticks after watching your video. Good info for sure. Merry Christmas captain.

Okay Capt.
This is going to be the craziest KOO KOO bird comment you've ever gotten.
I used to work with a lady that asked to "read my palm". This was about 30 years ago. Turns out everything she said came true. But one thing that stood out in my mind and I've always watch for since was.... She said my thumb curves backward, and this is a sign of generosity. A stiff and straight thumb is a sign of being stingy. But, she said she never tells people that. She tells them they are "thrifty" instead of stingy.
I saw your curved thumb and it fits you perfectly. Anyone that shares as much information as you you do, probably has a very generous personality. Thanks for your generosity Capt.

Next time try the predator from harbor freight i have been using them for about 7 years now and when they break i take them back get a new one under warranty then pay to extend the warranty again so I always wind up with a new generator every couple years that I have confidence in. Me and my wife love your videos maybe one day we will see you in the bahamas

Maybe when this one gets some age. Experiment with Velcro covers. I would imagine that thing needs all the air it could get.
Use the Velcro cover when underway. Take them off when parked.

I dought its weatinghouse making them most of these kind of units like the inverter 9500 watt versions all look the same just painted and stickered to the brand but all made in China by the same factory some things arnt built the best but a name brand like a Honda is out of reach for most people paying over double for the same size unit and get about the same amount of hours out of them especially doing what your doing putting them next to the ocean obviously has it’s challenges not to many people show them on a boat if they can survive years of salt water air they are definitely good enough to power a small rv or fridge lights in the house in a storm you should be sponsored for durability testing in my opinion to show how good a product can be even in worse conditions then most would use it for great video hope to see some summer trips I know it’s cold and stormy out there now

Great catch on the spark plug Cap! Quality has gone down the drain everywhere.
Those Westinghouse generators look like they have a sleek profile. We have a “bilt hard” 2500 watt and seems bulkier. Either way we’re trying to get some use out of it if only the weather would clear up! We’re landlocked Cap! 🤙

Do you worry about the rain on your generator at night while you're asleep in the boat? We are still considering getting a small 1500Watt, but concerned about it getting too wet if an unexpected rain storm pops up at night. I know you made the partial covers to keep out the water while traveling.

hello Kristy and thanks for watching my videos and i have see your youtube channel 2 bears outdoor and i saw you day ware there was a storm and you ware in front of the boat and i got scared of your safety without a life jacket .
and saw the videos on Bahia Honda too. and about the generator you just need to weather proof it the best you can and i have never had a failure on it and dent buy a expansive one because is onlyb going to last you 4 to 6 years on what we love to do, always navigate safe and see you on the water.

You get what you pay for you should have bought a Honda or Yamaha way better. Don’t buy a generator for peak power always look at what the RMS value is thats the true running power.

Very true captain but remember since I use this generator's on the salt water environment. And I change them every 3 years. Buying a Honda generator I'll be wasting a lot of money instead buy it for 40%. The cost of a Honda or yamaha is way better. Thats the way to go ,since replacement is very quick.
