Love you, keep it on the Good Morning Everyone Happy Monday to all who have followed us here today for our weekly meeting of all things and for all who follow
Hi I’m thinking of getting a bearded dragon but I have one question to ask…I work a regular shift but start at around 6am till 3pm so I wouldn’t be home until around 4pm …would it still be possible to get one?? Just curious.. thanks love your content…keep up the good work 👍🏻
Hi there! I wouldn't rule it out. Some things to consider... They need at least 2 hours of heat before and after they eat, so that they can digest their food well. Since they need 12 hours of light on and 12 off, you could adjust the time slightly to say 8/8:30/9 and then off 12 hours later. You could do this with an automatic timer. Then when you get home feed them. I would suggest a fully grown one, at least 1 year or so old. The first year sometimes more they're growing so much and need to eat often especially at first! You could prepare their food in the morning and then serve it in the evening when you get home. The tricky thing is that you wouldn't be able to spend much time with them, except for on the weekends. But as an adult, you would probably be able to know what their personality is like and pick one that's chill. If you're torn between a beardy and a gecko, let me know. I was thinking of doing a comparison vid at some point.

I would love to see an outside enclosure by you
Sweet! I'll add it to my "to do" list. I'm not handy, so this should be entertaining.
