@Midwest_Lizard_Mom hi Susie it's John from UK yeah don't like snakes never will don't like spiders or anything creepy Crawley like that don't mind repeated dragons never had a gecko don't know how to look after I suppose going on the internet and reading more about them I could get on with one I got two rescues for my son woman threaten to put them down the toilet and drown them when she walked into the pet shop where we were who just deal with Reptiles and she got reported for what she said to the what we call the RSPCA what she fought she was buying when she bought them from someone else was was two females two males in the end it all worked out they were all males she was going to kill them and me in the wife walked in while we why we were there when she was talking about it and my pet shop owner Donna turn and said do we want him so he run harrier my son and he's misses and they took both for them in and they are surviving to this day and they have grown into lovely little geckos I think it's what you call leopard geckos I'm not sure yeah I think the leopard geckos and my son Harry gave one to my son-in-law because he lost his bearded dragon last year she died on him I think he used to call a flops she was about 19 years old he's very much like me in the way of that men shouldn't cry but you know broke she broke his heart when she died yada from a little baby stop waffling on because I just keep on going and going I would love you wait to see some more of your videos on I would geckos or on the bearded dragons thanks xxx

I think I know which content creator you're referring to. He said something about that in a vid. So ridiculous he got in trouble for feeding insects. And yeah, I showed part of the chase, but left out the catch because no one needs to see that. So sad.

@Midwest_Lizard_Mom hi really don't know yins and out of RUclipsr don't really care I don't do it myself but I just watch but they seem to have rules for one rules for another yeah if you do something wrong you get demonetized or whatever it's called for doing something silly like the English blow over here he's like a professor

The bloke's been to college learn all these degrees and everything else and yet he gets demonetised just because he's put Kelsey powder on Beatles or whatever it was and fed them to his beardy dragons you know you don't seem right

A couple reasons, yes the cleanup is easy. Keeping your dragons enclosure clean is good for them. When I had a female I had a dig box I put her in when she was gravid. I have rough surfaces and stones in his enclosure, which helps to wear down his nails naturally and his pores. Also, if they get sick with parasites or mites, you'd want to empty the enclosure until they're well. I'm not against loose substrate, I just don't have it. I may do a dig box at some point.

Have you tried other squash? They may not like that one. Which is surprising, because it's sweet. But my dude doesn't like fruit, so it may just not be there preferred taste.

And have you tried using a peeler like I did in the vid? And breaking it into small pieces? You can also try putting bee pollen on their salad if they're being picky.

I got the hat when I attended a tea party for a relative! They had them and I was like.... MINE! Years later, still have it. :)

I would recommend fresh, but it will be fine. I haven't defrosted any, so not sure if it will be mushy. Good luck!

@@Midwest_Lizard_Mom she ate it np. It didn't seem too mushy but I'll get fresh and eat the frozen myself 🙂

You can also keep it for emergencies. Sometimes in the winter I have trouble finding good fresh produce.

When I was getting over my fear of snakes I avoided watching stuff that would scare me. Instead I watched snakediscovery and snakeful grace vids re bites and how to handle and also, how minor they really were. Understanding snakes really helped me to grow to love them. So fear mongering rubs me the wrong way.

If they're over a year and their temps are right, they'll be fine. I just don't because they're harder to digest and there's other options.
