My 3.0 hub works just fine as shown in all of my videos, I’m not sure why they’d say that but the hub I’m using is in the description but I’m sure any powered usb hub will work, just make sure it supplies sufficient power to your devices so a 5V/2a should work and make sure obviously it has att least three USB ports for mouse controller and keyboard

In the beginning of Xim, users would say I use it because they can’t stand controller, so Devs provide native and people still use Xim product. The Xim forums have turned into aim abuse central. I would recommend learning native because PC has caught onto this emulation of controller to abuse aim assist also. I see a day coming Devs put the smack down on emulation.

Played this way until about 4-6 years ago and got sick and tired of all those cheaters on pc using hacks. Then made the switch to the console just me and a controller that won't work. I don't care. My way out flight was the XIM4 meanwhile Xim Apex. By now you have other devices that cannot be compared to the XIM and will not mention them here. In my view, those are the very devices that ruin it for a normal user like me with my XIM Apex. But on the other hand I also understand you and will try to connect my keyboard and mouse directly to my console in old age. Just don't know if this has the right feel as with the XIM Apex / Pc. Future will tell :)

I will help you in your journey, ensure you set monitor coefficient to 'relative' and then use value of 0, then try 1.33 (middle of the road), 1.78 (very fast). These values will help with tracking and I use a 0. Also, you probably got accustomed to ADS'-ing with SMGs up close because AA. PC and native MnK you need to practice hip fire, don't ADS in close fights, controller aim assist will Win that fight. Jackfrags literally brought these devices up when talking to CoD developers.... they do know about them and I feel it's a matter of time. I would be prepared for it and at least practice now.
Hi I need help here, So I just got my xim apex last few days and I did download xim apex manager on my pc and handphone, xim apex firmware on my pc as well. After that hold the button of xim apex to blue and plug into my pc, upgraded successfully of my xim apex. After i unplug it and plug it into the Usb Hub, set up mouse, keyboard and my Xbox controller to my xim apex. Everything run well, my phone also did shown up the 3 logo. But the mouse and keyboard just cant work. However the xim manager on my phone shown there is obvious feedback once i press the mouse and keyboard button. So what is the issue here, and solutions..please help.
The only issue i seen now is 1. While I pressing the right button of my mouse, my xim apex will blinking green light every single time 2. Although my phone's xim apex manager shown there is xbox controller been connected, but my xbox controller didnt light up. Bro every 8 minutes everything stops working. Im using xim apex + cronus on remote play using my pc. First couple of days everything was fine. Now every 8 minutes the input just stops working and i have unplug everything and plug it back in, and the cycle repeats. What's the solution!! Im on the latest cronus version.
lag is an internal network problem and if you clean up your network the best you can, you shouldnt experience any lag. I have like 50 devices on my network and no lag at all
okay here’s my issue rn, just got my ps5 and when I plug my ximapex into the front of my ps5 I have no input from neither my Keyboard/mouse/ controller. Your issue is why everyone is here, XIM does not work directly with PS5 games it will work with ps4 games. To get it to work with PS5 games you’re going to need remote play set up, please look in the description for the available methods on using XIM or Cronus zen on the ps5, if you need further assistance please join the discord and DM TJAY702/D3MONCHxLD
this will be due to the insufficient power the xim hub or your pc provides. remember usb slots work like power outlets, you can only plug so many devices into one. This is why an external powered hub is needed for some
The issue is in fact power, a usb 3.0 port is backwards compatible, if you think about it the XIM is being forced to power three devices, it’s needs help, I tried all USB ports and all the same result, and for the record every port I’ve used in my videos are 3.0 to 3.2
as in charging? that means it is not connecting correctly, make sure you are using the proper controllers and methods in the videos, sequencing is huge also
Pc and laptop would be the same, and they are what is used for remote play, pick one and plug your hub into pc with external power and your xim into the hub

Also make sure you’re on latest XIM firmware, this video shows that your PCs USB ports may not supply enough power from one port to power all of your devices at once, kind of like electricity plugging in too many powerful things in one socket can cause a shortage, it’s kind of the same concept but low powered electronics

My setup is working perfectly fine with ds4 controller but the only problem is the sound..when I plug in my headset into ds4 controller volume is too low and on pc its weird I play r6 its confusing… so does this fix the sound as same as when i plug my headset direct into dual sense controller the sound is good.. so I was wondering is it worth it and does mic work perfectly with dual sense? Also is xim firmware important or no?

I installed two version of Battlefield 2042, for PS4 and PS5. With PS4 everything is great, no lag. With PS5 I can control PS5 menu with my keyboard, when I open Battlefiedl 2042 I can set options, but when I join the server (map) and move my mouse I lose control and my solder starts to turn around. I repeat in PS4 version BF2042 everything is great, no lag. I tried to play Battlefield V and everything is great. I have only problem with PS5 version of Battlefield 2042. Do you have any idea?
Yes it matters as far as if it has power as far as how much power output i would say the more the better, mine has 5v, heres the description of mine [5V/2A Power Adapter ] The USB 3.0 hub is working both bus-powered and self-powered. The equipped 5V / 2A power adapter allows power-hungry devices such as large-capacity external HDD with more stable data transmission.
@@GamingLegendzOfficial so i got my xim in the pc and my external 3rd party hub hooked into the xim with everything connected but the only thing that works is the ps4 controller hooked up, when i use the ps5 controller it just has an orange light like its charging
@@bubunitpsn look at the video closely where I connect the XIM , the hub needs to be in the pc and XIM in the hub, for this to work you can use the original XIM hub as long as you plug the XIM into the powered hub

This is definitely your fix to play PS5 using xim apex. Tried beloader and I always had issues with connectivity.

i use a wireless headset to ps5, if you use a wired i would assume it would need to be USB to ps5

make sure you follow the video, it sounds like you most likely have the power issue, i recommend an external hub with its own power source
Question, if you play ps4 games on the PS 5, can you just regulary plug your Xim With a PS 4 Controller? Or is the PS5 Controller mandatory?

Yeah you don't need the remote play but you will lose the 120 refresh rate is all, maybe faster loading but I'm not sure on that

I use a bluetooth or wireless headset for the game input, I have not tried this with wired yet.

I did play BF2042 with XIM apex, if you couldn’t get movement this is most likely the problem
